Purex Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets, Mountain Breeze, 40 Count

It might sound a little strange to be excited about dryer sheets, but I kinda am. I bought these because I wanted to stock up on dryer sheets and spotted these for about $1.40. $1.40. I mean, c'mon. That's like a pack of gum. I'm kind of ambivalent on Purex; I don't have a real opinion either way. I kinda see it as a decent product at a good price (I didn't expect the price to be quite this good, but alas), so I had no qualms about giving this a try, for the first time.So, the box arrives (with three packs of dryer sheets inside) and I can literally smell the dryer sheets through the sealed box. What?!?! That had me pretty excited (I don't get out much, clearly) and I didn't open it right away so I could show other people in the house how the fragrance even permeated the packaging. No one found it quite as extraordinary as I did, disappointingly.Anywho, these dryer sheets do the job well. And I don't mean well as in "Eh, they're OK, they do the job, I guess." I mean it as in "These are good dryer sheets. There is literally no reason why I would not buy these again." They smell great (and the scent isn't overwhelming on the clothes), they do the job properly, and the price. Did I mention the price?

These dryer sheets not only have a very nice and clean scent but they do eliminate static. I’ve noticed lately that some brands are only for scent. What I want is for diminishing static and adding a nice fresh scent. I do not like to add liquid fabric softener to my laundry, I feel it is simply adding a greasy film to my clothes and I do not like that.I also place a sheet in my drawers and hang some on my closet hangers to keep my closet smelling fresh. The price is good and they do the job very well eliminating static Would definitely recommend.

Have used these for many years! Nice light scent & takes wrinkles out, even on large king size sheets! The scent is the only drier sheet that I can tolerate! Most are way way to scented & lasts on the fabric some times a year or more & the over powering scents give me terrible migraines! Almost all liquid softeners have overbearing fragrances that I feel are un-nessary, & last way to long on cloths etc. (I buy un-scented liquid softeners for some clothing & sheets) but I can always count on Pruex fabric softener sheets! I did get a big disappointment today…I opened a new box of the Purex drier sheets only to find it empty! Sealed and empty! I hope this doesn’t happen again!

These Purex Fabric Softener Dryer Sheets have a really strong but pleasant scent. They are fine in the dryer. Clothes come out smelling fresh and the static is far less. I use these sheets for freshening folded and stored clothes and even in small rooms like an air freshener. The scent can be a bit overwhelming at first but it does lessen as days go by. Other dryer sheets I use soften clothes a little better but these are great smelling, inexpensive dryer sheets that can be used to freshen stale areas or clothes as well as in the dryer.

I first purchased these dryer sheets in 2015. Over the years it’s remained my favorite due to the powerful strong fresh scent. Amazon seems to be the only one offering shipping. While only 40 sheets come in a box, it maximizes the fresh scent longer, which I like. The value is excellent. I would not recommend these dryer sheets if you have sensitive skin issues. Lastly when I recently purchased 3 boxes, all of them had busted open sides that I had to tape close using scotch tape. Order these as a separate order for shipping purposes.

yes, like other reviews have pointed this out, the smell is very strong indeed. but the smell is Very Good!these dryer sheets smell fresh and sweet. they smell clean, like a perfume or a nice soap. I personally believe that the strong smell is very positive. it leaves everything it touches smelling very good. These dryer sheets are useful to put in closets by themselves or any drawers or any cabinets or cupboards where you want a strong fresh smell.the fresh smell will probably stay for days.I prefer dryer sheets that smell strongly over sheets that have a weak smell. these are perfect

I like these Purex fabric sheets. I needed fabric sheets with a stronger scent to put in dryer with my husband's and son's work clothes that often smell from gasoline. Detergents get out a lot of the paint and gas smell but lately jeans and sweatshirts still have slight odor after drying so I bought this 40 sheet mountain breeze box to test them out. The remove the gasoline and paint smell without having to go in dryer for a second time so I will be buying these -again! Also gets the sweat smell out of their boxing gloves after Muay-Thai class. We put 1 sheet into each glove and by next class boxing gloves smell fresh.So happy I found a scent that really works for my household.

This is an ok product. It smells great going in the dryer however it did not leave any type of scent on the laundry. It really only helps with the static. It's a good price. So in this case to !e you get what you pay for. So if your looking for something that doesn't have a greasy smell this is for you.
