Very happy with saving over $130 on the part alone
A local A/C technician quoted me close to $150 for this part alone. I did some searching and found it here on Amazon for much cheaper. I ended up doing the repair myself after watching multiple Youtube DIY videos, and the problem is gone! The part was much sturdier and higher quality than what came out of my Carrier AC unit. Everything was plug and play, and the unit has been working since I performed the repair last week. Very happy with saving over $130 on the part alone, on top of whatever the labor may have been.

Good Quality Contactor
The cheap $10 contractors I buy usually last about 2 years for me then I end up replacing. Bought this enclosed one to see if it lasts longer. It feels a lot more sturdy than others available on this site.

Broke after less than three weeks of use.
One evening, three weeks after installing this, the compressor wouldn't turn off on its own. Looked at the contactor and it was stuck in the closed position. I could get it to unstick by fiddling with it, but the next time it closed it again wouldn't open on its own. Piece of junk.
