How much vanilla powder is equivalent to one teaspoon of vanilla extract please?

I use about 1/4 teaspoon in place of a teaspoon of extract

Is this product just the crushed pods, or pods with seeds, or just seeds?

It's a very strongly flavoured powder. I'm assuming it's the entire pod, including seeds, powdered. There's no trace of anything coarser than a very fine powder in the pot. I've been very satisfied with it, both for baking, cooking, and adding to jars of things like honey for long-term flavour.
