How do I make sure these are the correct studs for my football boots?

You must measure the SCREW THREAD on your existing studs to ensure that these are the correct studs for your boots. Our Elite studs have a 5mm screw thread so they are compatible with boots that have a 5mm stud screw thread.

What football boots are these studs compatible with?

Our Elite studs are compatible with: Most football boots including Nike, Puma, New Balance, Under Armour, Lotto, Diadora and Umbro. They are not compatible with: Most adidas football boots (except World Cup, Kaiser 5 and Kakari).

What lengths do these studs come in?

Our Elite studs are available in short, long and extra long packs. Short length pack includes eight 11mm and four 13mm studs. Long length pack includes eight 13mm and four 15mm studs. Extra Long length pack includes eight 15mm and four 18mm studs.

How many studs are in the pack?

There are 12 studs per pack. The short length pack includes eight 11mm and four 13mm studs. The long length pack includes eight 13mm and four 15mm studs. The extra long length pack includes eight 15mm and four 18mm studs.

What can I use to tighten/adjust these studs into my football boots?

Our Elite studs can be easily tightened with the 55 Sport Football & Rugby Stud Spanner or a 55 Sport Hexagonal Stud Wrench. These are both sold separately, just search the 55 Sport store to find these stud accessories.

Replacement for standard Nike studs

Having looked for replacement studs for my sons Nike boots I found these on Amazon which looked like a suitable alternative. The stud itself is fine but the tread that screws into the boot is about 2mm too long. This means the stud can be felt inside the boot while using which is uncomfortable. I’ve added pictures to show side by side. I’ve had to use a hacksaw to trim them back to correct size but appreciate this is not something everyone would feel confident doing. I would have given 5 stars had the thread been the correct length.
