Using this camera mount for desk surface filming during paint streaming. I only received this today but have it all set up (super easy but it does come with complete instructions) and can't imagine it not producing adequate if not stellar results. Previous camera holders always got in my way and I'd either hit my head, hit my paintbrush on them or were just ridiculous with all their parts. This arm holds my camera up enough out of the way that I can move about. It holds my Logic camera perfectly with the attachment and is easy to move around should I need it out of the way for a minute. I love that it has a real clamp instead of a squeeze clampy thing because it's more stable. My squeeze clampy holders were unstable and my camera was always vulnerable to movement and needed adjustments frequently. You can NOT beat the price of this. Look at the other options and you will see that for the extreme versatility of this mount, you probably can't do better. I'm using a little webcam which of course doesn't weigh hardly anything but I am quite certain that my DLSR Nikon would also remain stable on this mount as well. I have included pictures with the ruler so you can see all the various ways it's arranged as well as a video explaining how I'm using it. If you're a streamer and need a stable mount that can record your desk top or whatever else, this is your camera mount.

Works perfectly just what I was looking for

Works for my purpose to have my ring light set up. This allows it to not take up valuable desk space the way it was on a tripod. I took off a star because the stability and how long it will last is questionable. The clamp is small and looks / feels cheap. I definitely wouldn’t put anything heavy on this. Since I won’t be moving it around much, it seems like it will be fine for my use. I couldn’t find anything without a light or not in the same affordable price range as this one.

I am absolutely delighted with this tripod! It does everything I need—it holds my phone exactly where I want it and in absolutely any position. The phone holder has two mounting holes, so it can be installed either vertically or horizontally. In addition, the entire holder is mounted on a ball joint, which, as you can imagine, can be rotated into any position and then fixed in place with a screw. The tripod holds any position firmly at each joint. Overall, I bought one and liked it so much that I realized I needed another one for a second location. In the end, I bought two. I highly recommend it to everyone!

The idea of this product is exactly what I need but the reality of it, and I can't hold the weight that I needed to, unfortunately, it was a waste for me. It would not hold my camera monitor even when I tying it up. It just falls down not strong enough.And all i'm using is a seven inch monitor and I needed to hold while I film

I bought two of these to hold two Panasonic camcorders for DJ Chester Chomp's Zoom Room Dance Parties! (Free online Zoom dance every Friday night. Come join the fun!) With the ball mounts they provided so much versatility for distance and angles that I thought to myself, "DJ Chester Chomp, this would make a great lighting mount!" I put one on my desk and when I am not on a Zoom conference, I tilt the light down for improved desk lighting with my Pixel G1s which I also highly recommend. I am awaiting the delivery of my fourth swing arm mount which will make my key light adjustable when I perform. I looked at a couple other options that had adjustable clamp depth but noticed that the screws would hit the side of the desk which could cause potential scuffs and scratches. These mounts have a bit of padding on them so they will not mark my tables and feature a flat clamp and do not scuff. They are sturdy but easy to swing around and adjust. Come join the party on Fridays and see for yourself. Well, you will not see them. But you will know they are there because you read this review. And you will think to yourself, "All of DJ Chester Chomp's other guests probably do not know what is holding those two side camera, but I do. Because I read his review!" And then you will smile as you dance the evening away!

I have attached my Sony ZV-1F and so far it is not sagging at all. Happy with my purchase.

This tripod isn't great and holds no weight at all so i couldn't even use it for photo's or videos. very disappointed.
