Exactly what I was looking for. Great quality, thick cording and was longer than expected! Although I got the 15inch cable, I was surprised at how long it actually is! It is longer than where I needed it to reach, which is nice so that cord as some give. Great product, would recommend. I have had the cord for a couple months now and still works perfect.

Using the "Mini-Display-Port" on a Lenovo ThinkPad T430s to stream-screen to a Vizio V705-H3, works flawlessly!

My Microsoft Surface computer uses this cable type for HDMI connection to its interface box. This works great!

Using two of these Rankie cables with my 4port minidisplay video card and both of my screens pass through full 4k resolution with no issues. While I prefer IVANKY for off-brand yet high quality cables, these are a perfectly suitable alternative.

after we acquired an NAS drive, we were hoping the Plex software that comes with the drive would be able to offer many options of playing all of our audio and video files. When that option failed, we bought this cable and went straight away from our Surface Pro 4 miniport to the HDMI input on our Denon AV Receiver. We avoided using the NAS drive's Plex software and off the tablet used Video LAN (i.e. VLC Player) and pointed it to our NAS drive..walla problems solved. this cable works great in this scenario or will be fine with any Microsoft Surface Pro 4 however the SP4 can only produce a 30Hz signal at 4K.Update: the past few weeks I began to notice a sync issue. The entire video and audio via the MiniDV port to the receiver HDMI port would disconnect, connect, disconnect, etc. After doing hours of troubleshooting, this cable is the culprit. I wrote to customer service after 90 days of use, an immediate reply no questions asked a replacement is on the way. Thank you

Works as intended, durable. I always buy Rankie when I can because they're the only company I've personally found that makes reliable and durable cables.

While the Rankie interface cable didn't fit my need. It made for a unique gift to a friend who is happy and putting it to good use. Gregory

I purchased this cable to connect my Mac Mini (2014) to my ASUS monitor using the Mini DP (Thunder Bolt ) output to the HDMI input. This insures the best possible display quality using the HDMI input. I was using the HDMI to HDMI cable that came with the monitor. It worked at 2560 X 1440 but the monitor wasn't as crisp as when using my main computer with DP to DP. Next I used a high end name brand HDMI to HDMI cable. The detail in the Mohave sand waves in the Mohave sand dune was a little clearer but still not that detailed. I ordered this cable because the mini DP output of the Mac Mini has the highest bandwidth, it has limited support for 4K. My monitor has HDMI 2.0 support. This cable was a noticeable improvement. The detail ripple waves in the sand are very distinct. I am now getting the best possible display. Apple doesn't doesn't mention 2560 X 1440 in the specifications of the Mac Mini (2014). I am very pleased with this cable. Using a 3 input HDMI switch, DP input and the DVI input I can share my monitor with 4 computers and a Satellite Receiver. I recommend this cable.
