My winsow ac unit is 14 x 18 x 14, which size i should choose?

The small size will suit for your unit, 21 * 16 * 15 .

How does this fit around the outside support brackets as shown in the picture?

My installation does not have outside support brackets, however, the product is solid and you would have to cut some slits into it to accommodate the brackets.

I need this in a more subdued color. Black would show like a sore thumb. Any suggestions?

Truly feel very sorry about that, we just have black now, because black is the most resistant to dirt for outdoor

Does this product keep the light from shining through the unit?

yes, this is a black cover, could prevent the sun.
