LIFETIME JEWELRY 1mm Rope Chain Necklace 24k Real Gold Plated for Women and Men

Tried cleaning this chain with a light mixture of jewelry cleaner and water. The finish came completely off and now has a brown looking finish! I am very dissatisfied, and cannot wear this necklace!!

Twenty years ago my sister gave me a beautiful gold chain. I've wanted another in a different length for years but didn't remember the name of the company. Then a few weeks ago I came across Lifetime Jewelry on Amazon and instantly recognized the name as where my favorite chain came from. I ordered the 24" and when it came I laid it beside the one that is 20 years old. I couldn't tell the difference! This is one product that truly is as good as the company claims. And no, they have no idea who I am and did not ask me or pay me in any way for this review.

I'm very happy with my purchase. The necklace is beautiful! It has the luster and shine of necklaces costing much more, and it hasn't reacted with my skin or discolored in any way (which I've had happen in the past with more expensive chains). I couldn't be more pleased. I'd recommend Lifetime Jewelry to anyone looking for durable and nonreactive items that look just as beautiful as higher-priced merchandise. I feel I've definitely gotten my money's worth and more with this necklace. I love it!

I've bought several different sizes of chains over the last two years for my pendants. They are of high quality and beauty. I'm very happy with my purchases.

Purchased this chain 2015, and I still have it.I ordered the 16inch, and its sits very nicely on me, as I was specifically looking for a simple gold chain to wear everyday.Being that Ive had it for almost 3 years now, its still hold up nicely. Not as shiny as when I initially received (as Ive worn it almost everyday), but I am sure that with some jewelry cleaner it'll look bright again.If you are considering getting this, go for it! its worth it for the price.I only stopped wearing it because I opted for skinny more inconspicuous chain.

I was really excited when I received this chain, it looked and felt like a very nice piece. After a month of wear, I’m certain that this chain is made of some very low quality metals and most likely contains a significant amount of nickel. At first I would get a small rash after wearing it for a day or two, but now after a few hours I have a bad reaction. I probably won’t be using this chain anymore, or ordering the anklet I was looking forward to getting next.

Looked nice on Christmas day. Four months later it has turned black.Update: At least their customer service is excellent. I forgot about the Lifetime guarantee and never contacted them for a replacement. They saw my original review and sent a new one, without my having to ask! Wow! Maybe the original was a lemon. We'll see.Nope. Not a lemon.

Good price for a substantial necklace. Looks like real gold and has a nice drape on the neck. Will be buying another length soon. I have long hair and the necklace does not get caught up in my hair. That is a winner.

This chain is exactly as described in the description. A 2mm rope chain is quite thick and very strong so was actually a lot bulkier than I was expecting, but that is my fault and not a flaw in the product. If you are looking for a pretty chain to carry a pendant or locket then I definitely recommend buying something a little thinner. But as a stand alone chain then this is a lovely piece.

As this is only 1mm in width I was expecting a very fine necklace. How wrong was I! It is a beautiful chain, looks very real, easy to do up with the lobster claw and appears much more visible than one would expect from 1mm. Love it. Thoroughly recommend

i was really happy with this when it arrived, it looked so nice, but having tried it , i have come out in a sore rash, which indicates that this contains nickel which causes an allergic reaction..If you're not allergic then it is a lovely necklace

I bought this 24inch chain as a replacement for a particular pendant which had a shorter chain and was very difficult to fasten. It looks good and appears to be well made, and, for me, it is so convenient to be able to put it on and off without unfastening it.
