What a great system for the money !!!
I’ve had this camera system for 5 months now and I’ve been wanting to write a review and always got side tracked on other things. So, better late then never. The NVR is an eight-channel system and is supplied with four cameras. That leaves room for four more cameras in the future. The cameras are 1080P and deliver such a magnificent and crisp view in the recordings. This is one of the few systems that offers an All-In-One design. Having the monitor attached to the NVR makes for a clean looking installation. The NVR can be placed anywhere in the house and look good. The cameras each have a warning siren and spotlights that can selected to use. I prefer not to have an audible alarm with motion (cats do set these off) but when the system is armed I want any notifications sent to me.The camera spot lights work as they should. As I leave the house and head to the driveway spot lights are coming on and following me on the way. One neighbor noticed it and make a comment about how nice it must be to have motion lights setup like that. He didn’t even suspect they were security cameras with spotlights and I didn’t tell him any different. The HD black and white night vision is truly clear, and the HD Color day images are just fantastic. The motion detection is easily setup and alerts come fast to our phones. The camera system was a breeze to setup. Turn on the NVR, start powering up the cameras, and since every camera was already paired to the NVR I immediately started getting video displayed. I set everything up inside the house first so the NVR and camera were handy to make changes. I experimented with several of the options offered and finally decided how they would be setup outside.Mounting the cameras went quick, anchors and screws were supplied with each camera. When I ordered the system I also ordered a couple of power extension cables because a couple of cameras weren’t going to be close to an outlet. I already had the app working on my phone from playing with the cameras inside the house so as we mounted each one I could monitor it on my phone to nail down exactly where to point them, and get them level.I made a list of pros and cons to try to cover all facets entirely. I hope this helps someone to make an informed camera decision and, in my opinion, Yeskamo should be strongly considered.Pros:1. Simple and fast setup. Any question I had about using the NVR software was answered the next day. I asked them several questions at once as I went through the menu’s and had large emails full of questions that I would send and they would always send me a quick reply and answer each item on my list. I am quite happy with the service I received and rate it second to none.2. The cameras have metal casings instead of plastic. Feels like a well-engineered and manufactured product. Lately we are now having 90+ days and earlier we had the winter freeze. These cameras have operated flawlessly and they have not skipped a beat at all.3. Fast motion alerts to our phones. The alerts show up within seconds to each of our phones. I know this is some what of an issue with many other brands. Poor to no alerts with others, but we have had good reliable alerts with Yeskamo. I have the alerts from the cameras setup with a special notification ring tone so we know when an alert is coming from our security system so it doesn't get ignored like many other notifications do.4. The PC software for WIN 10 installed nicely and works well with the NVR. Just to note, this system does not require an Internet connection to work. The Internet connection is only required for off site monitoring. We have it setup this way and appreciate that we can take a look at our house anytime and anywhere we are (as long as we have an internet connection). Either way, the NVR stores all for us to review locally when back at home.5. Before purchasing I contacted Yeskamo to have the manuals and data sheets sent to me so I could get a look at the documentation they supplied. They answered my email within a day and sent the requested documents immediately. I thought that was very respectable of Yeskamo. They offered their help with any more information I needed or any questions I might have before committing to a purchase.6. If I could rate their customer support on its own it would have to be 10 out 10. They were there to answer my questions before and after buying their product. I had no previous experience with security cameras so I asked about every little thing I didn’t know (which was plenty) but everything was answered plainly for me. Many times examples were sent to better explain the options / settings I was inquiring about.7. The supplied 2TB hard drive records all 4 cameras 24/7 for about 50 days. Plenty of time to go back and view an event that happened in the past. We have done this too many times to mention.8. In an ordinary setup each camera connects directly to the NVR. In some setups a camera might be too far to connect well to the NVR directly so with Yeskamo it can be connected through a camera that have a good connection back to the NVR. I did not need to use this; all of my cameras have good signal strength to the NVR. Just wanted to mention it if others are having trouble with a camera or two. Yeskamo also sends a strong antenna to use on a camera in place of the one installed on the camera. It allows the antenna to be mounted away from the camera. I did not need this either, but I am sure many people will appreciate having this suppled with the kit.Con:1. OK, I had a camera problem. Had the IR Led’s on a camera not turning on when the camera switch into night mode. Contacted support and they had a camera shipped right away as a replacement. Yeskamo support is in China but they have a warehouse facility in California and cameras are stocked there. So, the replacement camera was sent priority from California and I received it like two days later. Believe me, when you have a failure in your security system you need a company that responds quickly to resolve it.2. The speaker/microphone works best when the other person is in close proximity of the camera, otherwise don’t plan to use this for communication. Not a deal breaker for me since my cameras are mounted quite a ways from the entry they are monitoring so the 2-way communication didn’t work.3. The connectors are located on the bottom of the NVR so not easy to get to. For the USB port that I use to connect my jump drive for saving video clips I added a small 4 port USB breakout box ($3). This way I can leave it connected to the USB port on the NVR all the time and when I need to connect a jump drive for backups / file saving I easily plug into the USB breakout box instead of trying to get to the NVR USB port under it. Also, the HDMI connector is very tight on the bottom. I use the HDMI output from the NVR to display on a large screen TV located close to the NVR. The connector and jacket on my HDMI cable was just too long to bend it to fit under the NVR without force so I bought a couple of HDMI right angle connectors (about $4) that came with 90º and 270º angled connectors to be sure the right one is provided. Now my HDMI cable is installed without any force on it or the HDMI connector on the NVR.Overall: This has been a learning curve for me, and I can say I understand a system setup far more than I ever thought I would. Yeskamo has been a partner with me in this journey and I extremely thank them for their help and support. One more thing, a little careful planning up front will save you a lot of grief later. I had mine so messed up I just started over once. But the second time I had a better plan and knew what I wanted to do better than the first time. There is a Restore Factory settings but use it wisely.

Good system and affordable.
Someone has been damaging my garage decorative lights. After the second time, I decided to get a security system.I did a lot of research prior to buying this product. The reviews were helpful. I wanted an affordable system with clear images. I also wanted decent storage for video. This has 2TB of storage pre-installed. The cameras also have two-way communication as well. Everything but the settings is accessible on the phone app. This system is awesome. Clear images, night vision is clear and gets even better if there is motion. The black and white changes to color video. You can also set sensitivity of cameras. The system was really easy to set-up. All you need is to power up the system and follow the instructions. Once the monitor is set-up, just plug in the camera and the images come on automatically. The hardest part of the installation was to install power in my attic for the cameras. I also ordered cables for the power cord to be able to run through the attic. The cameras are obviously pretty sturdy since I dropped one off the counter and no damage done whatsoever. I did break some of the screws into the cement boards. Screws could be better. But I had some in stock so I got over it.So far, I’m very satisfied. The cameras are extremely sensitive to motion. I actually had to adjust the settings to medium sensitivity. If you have it on full sensitivity, the dogs will actually set-off the night motion (color video and sound alarm). The neighbor across the street who is renovating the house actually had some issues with someone taking materials. I downloaded the videos for him to review. That was also extremely simple...just need a USB drive.I also included some pictures and notifications from the phone app.

Easy to install and works great.
I wanted a system that I could use to keep an eye on my house since my neighbor moved and I don’t have anyone else close to check on it. I wanted something easy to install and didn’t require a lot of wiring. A friend of mine has this system and recommended it to me because it has everything included, wireless cameras, monitor, and a hard drive recorder. It also has an app to view live and recorded video on my phone. You do have to connect the monitor to an ethernet cable for the remote feature. The cameras are already programed to the monitor but I powered each one up in the house so I could identify the camera number. I wanted to put them up in order. I did add a PTZ camera to the system. I programed it wirelessly with the reset button on the camera and it was assigned as camera 5. The manual explains how to add more cameras. I control the PTZ camera from my phone app. I can pan a large area with this and park it an area I want to monitor. I mounted the cameras under the soffit by a window at each corner of my house and ran the power wire along the window trim. Then I ran it under the screen frame and through the window to a plug in the house. I did not have to drill any holes. The wire is small and flat and I was able to close the window on the wire with no trouble. The kit comes with a power wire extender but I didn’t need to use it because the wire on the each power supply was plenty long. Using the app and the picture on my phone made it easy to aim the cameras.I focused mainly on the ease of installation but the cameras take great night and day video. The monitor shows a great picture too. There are a lot of setup features for recording. I am recording 24-7. When I play back video, if the cameras has detected movement it will shows up as a highlighted section in the time line making it easy to find. I also like that I can turn off the floodlights when I am outside having a campfire.Overall I am very happy with the Yeskamo 4 camera security system with the 16 inch monitor.
