COMPLETELY RELIABLE
I have just received my third order of these lighters. They are completely reliable. The flame is always strong enough for any purpose, until the lighter is exhausted. They last quite a while, and are certainly worth what they cost. Note that, on the latest version of these lighters, the trigger can be a little sticky, requiring a lot of finger strength to pull.

Not Easy to Catch a Flame
With respect to the benefits of this torch is you don't burn yourself. However its a struggle to get the damn thing to light. There is a tiny switch that you need to ensure it's on the "+" symbol to facilitate proper ignition which is good safety feature. However I think this safety feature does negatively affect its performance. I have to click on the ignition trigger several times before I can catch a flame. So all in all it will work but don't be surprised of it takes a while to start. I'm curious to see how much life it has on the lighter fluid.
