Welllean Rice - Read my review to know why you must buy this OR just save time, buy it immediately!
This is SOOO good... I made egg fried rice with shrimp, the flavor was unbelievable. Its even better then the real white rice. The final texture of the cooked fried rice dish reminds me of beaten rice - used in some Indian dishes, which makes the rice a bit chewy...for the lack of better term. Since this is almost 0 calories, I can add more meats, olive oil (or coconut oil) and/or nuts and not worry about make it too calorie dense. Since then I have tried several side dishes and everyone of them exceeded my expectation. the best part is no need to spend time cooking rice. Also the product can handle heavy mixing and stirring and still remain fluffy unlike real white rice. I also mixed other cooked grains/cooked dry peas (like green chick peas, black eyed peas) and it turned out great. I can eat so much more and still stay within the meal calorie goal. (I use myfitnesspal to track). Initially, I just got this to balance out the calories during the Christmas holiday season but my order was delayed by 2 weeks (out of stock) and the seller immediately apologized when I contacted them and refunded me as a good will gesture. My packet still arrived on Dec 27th instead of 14th. It was worth the wait. I am customer for life and I have subscribed for auto deliveries now. The only thing I hope they would change - the price is higher than most other brands (but this still is the best tasting and texture, I have tried them all I would continue to buy these.) It is double packed with 2 really high quality packaging. I hope they find a way to reduce the packaging per oz of the product and offer a bulk price for a larger quantity inside each packet. I am sure lot more people would try this if they reduced the price. Either ways, I am sold and I plan on making this a part of my must have pantry items.

This product helped me maintain my keto diet.
I started my intermittent fasting and keto journey in November of 2022 and still going strong. One of my favorite dishes is fried rice and I pretty much had to put it in my head that I would not be able to eat it for a very very very long time, if ever. One day I started craving fried rice really bad so I did some research and came across this Shirataki rice. This was a game changer. I ordered it and was naturally skeptical about how it would taste and how it would cook. I donโt think I would eat it by itself as a rice substitute, but when you mix vegetables and protein into it, you can barely tell the difference. It makes me full like real rice would, but with such an insignificant amount of carbs and calories that I donโt feel guilty eating it. I would rate this a 8/10 compared to the real thing. And Iโm just referring to using it as fried rice. Really, itโs that good. I barely leave reviews but I feel like people could really benefit from this game changer of a product. I just bought my second order. Cheers.

Not what I expected
I was looking for the dry version that cooks like regular rice. This is the wet kind that you rinse, then heat. Seems you really canโt tell what you are ordering. Iโll use it.

It does the job of replacing rice...versatile.
Changing my diet on doctor's orders, so I was searching for gluten free options. This is decent. It did have a slight fishy odor upon opening, but it rinsed away. I made a stir fry with it. It doesn't have any flavor and doesn't have the drier texture of rice, but I knew that going in. It's definitely worth the price if you are gluten-free because of Hashimoto's or Celiac.

Good rice alternative
I have tried the dry shiratake rice but those have higher carbs since they added rice flour to it. This is the first time I have tried the wet version. This have no fishy smell. I just soaked it a little bit at warm water and heat it at the pan to dry it out. It is kinda chewy but not bad. I kinda like it. It is very filling

Not normal
I love these noodles. I have been ordering them for several years from Well lean and now Iโm unsubscribe with Amazon. This Porter was so different. There was a lot of mucky water in it. The rice were smaller and harder than usual and fewer.. The quality appearance and texture were not normal.

Delicious! Very low carbs and calories!
Tastes great!! Rice without the calories and carbs. It is delicious in a stir-fry. Nice texture also. My husband thought it was real rice.

Tastes great if you use it the right way
I love this product and am so happy I purchased it. I think it is a good rice replacement for those of us on keto. I think you have to use it the right way. I like to think of this more like a base of a risotto-type of dish. In other words, if you let it simmer with other ingredients like cream, mushrooms, cheese, etc. It tastes amazing. But I am not so sure how it would be on its own...without other ingredients. It is definitely on the pricey side (as are many other keto-replacement foods) but worth it when you want something "like" rice.
