The color came out less purple and much lighter than the cap even after 3 coats. It was more of a burgundy or merlot shade. The texture afterwards was rougher --similar to painted canvas. Nonetheless, I was very pleased with the results. It didn't rub off and the texture has begun to soften. **Q: I spray painted some plastic and metal but when it drys, the paint get chip off easly. How can i fix this problem??** A: Unfortunately, you will probably have to start over. The paint may not have adhered well. Use fairly fine sandpaper-you don't want scratches, but the paint needs something to hold on to. Paint and let it SIT for several days.
