Purchased this rope 7/3 and received it 7/5. The rope came in a yellow large enevolpe and had just a rope and a warranty card in it. I was baffled because I thought the registration of the warranty would prompt me to the e-book mentioned in the ad but it did not. So, I reached out to King Athletic and someone immediately responded. Within 1.5h I had my 2 E-books. However, after reading the E-book workouts I began to panic and realized the Rope I purchased was for Int to Advanced individuals. So, I sent another e-mail and got the most amazing response. Encouragment with videos to assist me in my journey. Now, I consider myself a newbie because I used the weighed jump ropes. Considering after using this rope 5a this morning and realizing maybe it was all just intimidation on my behalf because the rope and I was were able to keep a constant speed with no interruptions related to kinking up or anything other ropes do. It was great experience.Rope: Thin, light, easy on the wrist movements, adjustable and seems like good quality. However, considering this is my first upgraded not a tj maxx find on the rack rope I am still sticking to being a novice. So, updates later with continued use.

I am not by any means an advanced jump roper, but I decided to buy this rope over others based on the reviews. So if you're a beginner here, here is a review from a newbie.Before purchasing this rope, I already understood the basics of jumping rope with 2 feet... Couldn't do it for more than 15 seconds, but I had the jist. The rope has to be adjusted unless youre like 6'2", and the instructions they gave for adjusment are SUPER easy! A child could do it. So once I had the rope adjusted I stretched a little and did little 10 second intervals to warm up and make sure I still remember how to do this.. I did. But I also whipped myself in the back of the leg a few times (really fun!). The rope is quick and consitent making it really easy to pick up the motions and after 3 10 minute workouts I can jump rope with this rope for about 60 seconds.The work out plans they give for beginners are like 30 minutes long. Don't feel obligated to do that or overwelhmed if you cant. Start with 10 minutes of 30 second intervals or something.YOU CAN DO THIS!I would recommond this jump rope :)

I purchased the Jump Rope for Cross Fit and while it is a decent product, it falls short in a few areas. The adjustable feature is helpful for finding the right length, but the rope can be difficult to adjust at times. The rope itself is lightweight and easy to use, but I've found that the plastic handles can become slippery when my hands get sweaty. The instructional eBooks and workout video that are included are helpful for beginners but may not offer enough variety for more advanced jump rope users. Overall, I would rate the Jump Rope for Cross Fit a 3 out of 5. While it is an adequate jumping rope for cardio fitness and exercise, it may not be the best option for more serious athletes or those looking for more variety in their workouts.

I really like these jump ropes, and would get them again. However, there were some difficulties with it, and I would suggest that people read this PRIOR to purchase so they know what they're getting into!Pros:- Super light/compact -- you can literally carry this in your back pocket if you wanted to -- with all the stuff in my gym bag already, it's nice to find something that doesn't just take up more space- Super fast -- ideal for double unders, it'll go as fast as you can go!- Slippery and extremely strong steel underwire, which means it'll last as longer than vinyl or plastic ropes -- they say not to use on concrete, but honestly it's really strongCons:- Steel underwire means when you trip, it hurts. A lot.- Adjusting this requires you to unscrew the 'lock' that keeps the wire in place, then for you to cut the super-strong steel wire with some pliers. Then you put the screw on the lock (it's like a little nut looking thing). The only pliers that worked for me were titanium ones that I sometimes use in gunsmithing- After you cut the wires, it leave them abrasive and scratchy on the ends, which can poke you when you reach for them in your bag- Came extremely dirty/scratched -- I mean, they'll get that way after a week of working out, but come on -- I don't want to get dirty/scratched products when I buy them new.Overall, for the price, unbeatable quality, IF you can live with the downsides. I personally like them, but would appreciate a little better packaging quality and a way to change the length easier.

This is my second jump rope from the King Athletics brand(1st is the leather jump rope which I also highly recommend). Unlike the leather jump rope the hyper jump rope is targeted for speed training, use it for my HIIT days at the gym. If you're used to using a heavier rope this will take you a few tries to get used to but once you get the hang of it you begin to wonder why you didn't start using this sooner. Jump roping is my favorite type of cardio and the Hyper Jump rope definitely pushes my workouts to another level.As far as quality goes the rope is real sturdy and durable and super lightweight. Only been a week but have had my leather King Athletic jump rope for almost two years with daily use and it still in great shape so expect this one to be no different.If you are looking to change your workout routine up or get into jumping rope in general look no further then King Athletics, they don't disappoint and have a great warranty. For $7 this is the only cardio equipment you'll ever need.

i have not jumped rope in a long long time and i was not aware of all the different types of ropes and jumping techniques and challenges. This is a speed rope and its basically an extremely light cable type of rope. Jumping rope can actually make for a really good work out or warm up and the company that makes these ropes does all sorts of different challenges and help videos to get people into jumping. Ships fast, seller is nice and interactive, cable feels very strong and has held up fine so far (has been a few months since i started jumping with this rope). It was pretty cheap as well. highly recommend.

Great item for a great price. Light to use and easy to adjust. Does hurt a bit when it hits you but that just encourages me to learn moves quicker!!

Skipping rope is light and durable. Made skipping feel fun and not a chore. Really happy with this purchase and the added extra are really a nice touch. And it is good that you have a contact for future questions in relation to the added bonuses offered.

Good value for money skipping rope. lightweight and easy to use and to adjust. served me well for the past 2 years however the plastic coating around the metal wire wore down from skipping on concrete and the wire frayed making this un-usable towards the end
