Stunning coffee can’t drink anything else. Prompt delivery great quality.

This was a gift for my Son who is particular about his coffee. This is not for latte drinkers but those who have to take their coffee black so as not to dilute the strength of it. It is strong but not bitter. However my Son only a pot a day so not something to drink all day.

Nothing necessarily bad about the coffee. We bought it due to it being a local roaster near to us and believed it to be a superior quality to larger roasters. We paid over double what we usually would for a kilo of beans and were excited to try it in our new bean to cup machine (delonghi primadonna elite)If anything we were disappointed and expected more from it. We couldn't tell any difference in quality from other coffees we have had which are less than half the price.Probably won't buy again

After the first cup, I wasn’t really impressed. It didn’t taste bad, it rather just didn’t taste much of anything.However, after a bit of experimentation I found the sweet spot.Using an AeroPress, I use a grind that’s just shy of espresso coarseness and brew for roughly three-and-a-half minutes. The ‘inverted method’ is key here.After I’d done this (with other beans, I’d used a coarser grind and brewed for a shorter duration), the flavour of this blend really comes to the fore. It’s not the best coffee I’ve ever had, but for the price it’s really good value.Note: as of 29/12/2020, the packet is 1kg and not 2x500g as packs as noted by other reviewers. Also unable to see a roast date, but there’s a BBE which is Dec 2021 - so I’d infer from that that it was roasted this month and the BBE is a rolling 12 months when they bag it up. I have absolutely no evidence of that, but it seems like a logical conclusion.All in all, for the price, it’s recommended. If you pay double, you’ll get a better blend - but that’s true of practically anything!

Si nos gusta el café en grano, y así molerlo en casa justo en el momento en que vayamos a hacernos el café, este café Cherry Storm - No. 17 (Dark Edition) sería una buena opción 👍👍Con el impecable servicio de Amazon, llega muy cómodamente a casa, y el envase tiene un aspecto muy profesional. Se trata de un paquete de 500 gramos, con una decoración muy sobria, en tonos marrones y rojizos, con cierre reutilizable y valvula desgasificadora.En el propio envase podemos leer que está tostado y empaquetado en Reino Unido, y figura muy claramente la fecha en la que recomiendan que lo consumamos. En mi caso, lo he recibido en mayo de 2021, y se puede consumir hasta abril de 2022.Para abrir el paquete se puede hacer muy cómodamente simplemente rasgando la parte superior, si bien en mi caso lo he hecho con una tijera. En el momento en que se abre, sale un delicioso olor a café que llena toda la cocina!El café me ha gustado mucho. Es mezcla 100% Arabica, procedente de plantaciones ubicadas entre 900 y 1350m en Brasil, Perú y Honduras, con variedades de café Mundo Novo, Icatu, Bourbon, Catuai y Caturra. Tiene bastante cuerpo y un sabor muy intenso, dando mucho color a la leche cuando lo añadimos. No le he notado ninguna nota amarga.En casa molemos el café con un pequeño molinillo eléctrico, y de este modo únicamente molemos el que vamos a consumir en ese momento. Hacemos el café con una cafetera italiana, si bien también se puede hacer con cafeteras espresso.Una vez que hemos abierto el paquete, es recomendable guardarlo en un lugar fresco y seco, y aunque como os he comentado antes, el envase lleva un cierre reutilizable, en nuestro caso lo pasamos a un recipiente hermético para que no pierda el aroma.En el momento de hacer esta reseña el precio del café no estaba disponible, así que no puedo opinar sobre la relación calidad-precio, pero sí que os puedo confirmar que tiene una excelente calidad y muy buen sabor, así que lo considero totalmente recomendable.Muchas gracias por haber leído mi reseña, y si has encontrado útiles las explicaciones y las fotos, por favor, no olvides pulsar sobre el botón "Útil", que es la manera de la que puedo saber si este tipo de reseñas os gustan y os pueden resultar interesantes 😉
