Very sturdy and heavy duty. It needs to be sturdy at this length. I broke my previous long handled wooden spoon in my instantpot. I love making heavy soups like Lentel and Mushroom Barley. Good quality.

I make big pots of sauces and stew type dishes. Works good. The handle worries me some on the thickness might not be strong enough for a pot of dirty rice. Over all its good.

I purchased this for our church kitchen. We used it tonight and it made a big difference with our large cooking pots. The spoon kept me well above the boiling liquid. The only drawback would be stirring a very thick or heavy product. We don't cook that so it was no problem for us. However, I felt it necessary to mention.

It’s nice and long and is a scoop on the end of it and it’s made a quality wood and it’s very handy. I highly recommend it.

I love my big spoon! Our old big wooden spoon snapped in half when we were making a giant batch of spaghetti sauce. We purchased this spoon to replace it, and it has done the job through several batches of sauce and soups. The price is ridiculously high, but you can say that about pretty much every item these days. If you make big batches of soup or spaghetti sauce, this is the spoon for you.
