Berkley PowerBait Trout Fishing Dough Bait

Love Berkley PowerBait, super easy to use, and just about every lake I go to where there are trout, I will easily catch trout off of this bait. It stays on the hook well. My secret is to dip it in the water a bit before casting, as the dough, when wet becomes sticky, and it helps it stay on the hook better. Catches big and small trout, I've caught everywhere from 5 inches long to 20 inches long. I recommend bringing a rag to wipe the excess off your hands, as the odor is good for catching fish, but not great for trying to eat.

This PowerBait has worked really well for me when fishing for stocked trout in Georgia. I really like that it comes with four different colors because I can switch between them depending on what the trout seem to be biting that day. All four colors have worked great for me, and the dough is easy to mold onto the hook and stays on well. I’ve had really good luck using it for stocked trout, especially when fishing from the bank. Orange is my go to. I’d definitely recommend giving this PowerBait a try. Having multiple colors in one pack is a big plus.

Only bait i used was raised on this stuff! Pro tip if you didn't already know if casting pack it around youre hook then dip it in the water for a few seconds before casting to help set it
