Universal pocket knife which has other useful gadgets. Wood finish makes it a bit more distinctive. Very pleased with my purchase.

This is the standard Victorinox Spartan penknife but with a natural wood finish. It's a brilliant knife that looks much better than the basic red version and of course doesn't use any plastic!

The wood is very nice, the front scale grain pattern nicer thankfully than the back. The other way around would have pissed me right off. I already have more than 10 Vic knives and a couple of them are Spartans with the plastic Cellidor scales and my initial impression is that I actually prefer the feel of the plastic version though it scuffs and scratches up very easily. I think the plastic scales are a bit more rounded off at the edges so makes the knife feel slimmer though this wood version makes it feel slightly lighter on the outsides. For prettiness get this wood version but for practicality and value (almost half the price) get the cellidor version with toothpick and tweezers or be like me and get both but if I had to have only one it would probably be the cellidor version and I don't even like cellidor that much but I don't get any great wow from this wood version and you lose the toothpick/tweezers though it is undeniably nice looking and well made. Would this make me want to get more wood versions? Perhaps thankfully the answer is no. I like this one to have as an example though I may have been better choosing the Huntsman version but I am more likely to pocket carry this narrower Spartan. I still think Alox are clearly the best scales from Victorinox. It's nice to have the various choices I suppose and I've now got another knife from Victorinox but it's not instant love, neither hate, I think sort of boring neutral. Maybe getting some Titanium alloy scales for my Mountaineer which is next on my list might be more interesting.

Canivete bom , porém tem opções melhores . Tentei dar uma chance pro Spartan depois de 8 anos sem um desse modelo , porém não vai . Em questão de portabilidade, perde feio pro cadet alox, e pra ferramente , para o climber que tem tesoura . Não vejo uso para a faca pequena , e a lâmina principal eh muito fina e frágil . Eh um modelo talvez pra quem seja o primeiro victorinox , porém mesmo se for , recomendo o talão celidor , quem vem pinça e palito . A madeira desse eh uma caixa de surpresa , nunca peguei nenhum que fosse realmente bonito da série wood .

Reçu très rapidement, ce qui ne gâche rien, ce couteau suisse Victorinox est parfait : un nombre de fonctions largement suffisant, et le manche en bois est de toute beauté. On sent dès l'ouverture de la boîte qu'il s'agit là d'un produit costaud qui devrait durer des années.

Ja, es ist ein klassisches Schweitzer Messer von Victorinox wie man sie kennt und liebt. Die hölzernen Griffschalen mit dem lasergravierten Logo sehn aber schon sehr gut aus.
