Makes it real easy to identify controls on camera

This product is well thought out and put together to last. It's just the right size to carry in your shirt or jacket pocket. The pages are made of thick "cardboard" or something like that and it is spiral bound. It looks like it will last a long time and can probably even withstand getting wet from a sudden rainstorm. It has all the information about the Nikon D850 and it lays it out well so that you can look up anything you want and be quickly reminds, or teaches what all the buttons and dials do and how to use them. A handy guide for those who are not well versed in the D850

The Nikon D850 is a fabulous - and complex - camera. I’m always looking for another “help me remember out in the field” guide. This guide has heavy cardboard covers and thick paper pages. Sturdy. It covers the usual button and function roles. But it allows you to list your preshoot preferred setting and gives a comprehensive and focused review of exposure, metering, and focus modes. It tells you how to do functions you might not do frequently such as multiple exposures, HDR images, and time lapse photography. It reminds you how to shoot several common situations such as portraits, group portraits, and landscapes. Finishes with a blank page where you can add your own notes. All in all a pretty perfect little memory guide at a reasonable price. The only thing I wish it had was several more blank pages to allow me tolist a few more of my personal notes, but I can use a sticky note on the back cover I guess.

Potentially very useful because it is small and can indeed be carried in a pocket. But it is difficult to read because the letters are small. Still, I do recommend it.

This little guide is ideal for your camera bag regardless of your level of expertise.

Even though it's not for my exact model camera (nikon d750) the buttons are similar and I'm learning a great deal. Very convenient size as well, fits in my shirt pocket for easy access!

I guess I was expecting a bit more than what's already in the operator's manual that comes with the camera.
