My job requires me to sign my signature a lot so I carry multiple bics with me at all times. Sometimes people ask to borrow a pen, but I don't have the time to wait for them to return them. I don't feel bad about just letting them keep the Bic when they only cost about 10 cents to 25 cents per pen. The gel pens usually go for $1.00 per pen. I buy both, but save the gel pens for more important things like signing checks and important personal documents. The Bic will always have a place in my pocket.
