Tetra ValuPro III Handgun Cleaning Kit

Like the product, very happy

Used to clean two different S&W MP9 Shield EZ 9mm. Instructions included were great, I’ve never cleaned a handgun before and it was very simple. I have recommended this to anyone who has asked me about cleaning a handgun. The only thing you need besides the kit is gloves.

I have tried many different cleaning products and I always come back to Tetra. I'll clean my barrel with Hoppe's or another product, and then clean it again with the Tetra cleaner/lubricant and will drag out another dirty patch.The grease is also incredible. It's a white bead that comes out of the very small, pointed nozzle, and as a grease should: it stays put. It doesn't run like oil, but it provides a VERY lubricating film over anything you apply it too.I would recommend purchasing an oil for the barrel (inside and out) simply because putting grease in the barrel or near that much heat isn't recommended as it's too thick. But over ANY sliding/rotating pieces where there is metal-on-metal contact, I wouldn't recommend any other product whether it be oil or grease.I've placed this grease on rifles and then stored them for over a year and the color of the grease never faded and was still just as slick as when I applied it. The grease is also not sticky, which means it doesn't attract dust/dirt/hair like other greases and oils do.The set comes with 100 (100% cotton) square patches, a brass bristle brush, a patch holder, a rotating guide rod with T-shaped handle plus an extension rod, Tetra Fluoropolymer cleaner/lubricant, and Tetra Grease.Again, I would HIGHLY recommend this product for all firearms.

I took a class on handgun cleaning. This kit was missing a brush (like a toothbrush) to clean the small areas inside the handgun when you take it apart. Luckily the class was in a gun store that gave me a brush but the kit should include all the requisite parts. So, I was disappointed.

I like the small size of the kit.

The cleaning rod is very sturdy, and much better than any competitors that I have seen or used for pistol cleaning. I recommend this product. You won't beat it for the price. The only rod I have seen that is more durable is the cleaning/ ram rod I bought for my .50 cal muzzleloader. It won't fit in most pistols. I bought this for my 9mm

works for what I need and carries all for a good cleaning

Great kit - has all the basic tools, solvents, pads, etc., to clean my 1911 45 ACP. combine that with the price, and quality, and you have a great basic kit that should last.

Kit completo e funzionale per la pulizia dell'arma. Ha in sostanza quasi tutto quello che serve, manca solo il solvente. Io solitamente uso un solvente della stessa marca e mi trovo molto bene. In generale un buon prodotto.
