The color and shape is very cute, a true yellow. The product is well made and quality, solid and will last a long time.

What a difference a simple shade makes! I bought these two shades to upcycle a couple of very heavy brass lamps I bought at a yard sale. These shades look very expensive; they are heavy, sturdy, and a very crisp white color. They will not change the "tone" of the bulb you use but allow the bulb's spectrum to shine forth unaltered.

Well-packaged, fairly priced (given FREE shipping), and three-day delivery! After searching high 'n' low for lamp shades that would not overwhelm a delicate, hand-forged vine lamp, I opted for this one. The shade (shown w/ no lighting, taken directly from box) provided a lovely alternative to more traditional colors of lamp shades, while neither overwhelming, nor underwhelming a functional piece of art. I am so very pleased with my purchase. My only regret is that my photo was taken on a dreary day, as it does not show how pretty a shade of blue this shade is. For those who complain of the size, I would strongly urge them to grab a tape measure, to measure their lamps, then too review the multitude of videos on how to measure for the proper lamp shade size. It is NOT the lamp shade maker, but rather the buyer who is at fault here. REALLY!

I spent a long time researching shades between Amazon and another popular online website. I read reviews and looked at pictures - all of which only delayed my decision about what to purchase. It's unbelievable how difficult it is to find decent, affordable lampshades. I was reluctant to order these because they weren't Prime shipping/returns, and there was a shipping fee. But the reviews for these were the best I could find, and the price was very reasonable.I finally decided to place the order, and I am extremely happy with these Fenchel Shades. They arrived in perfect condition, nicely packaged and protected. I just pulled them from the box, unwrapped the plastic, and installed them on my lamps.I ordered the Beige Homespun - 10" top diameter, 12" bottom diameter, 8" slant height. I was looking for a smaller size diameter because of the surface size of the tables I wanted to use the lamps on. These shades are great quality, sturdy and not flimsy or falling apart. I found no loose seams or imperfections in the construction. For the price, I am very impressed with them.

My lamps look perfect for my decor!

So, I don’t usually write reviews. I first went to the Fenchel shade website and paid for swatches, I wanted the right color of white that wasn’t too blue and would mix with some shades in my room that were more Ivory. The linen shade in Snow was perfection. It’s definitely white but just not as harsh as a bright white. The lamps are RH (outlet and second hand) but I didn’t want to pay their prices and shipping for shades. I bought two from Amazon for less than one RH shade. (It’s cheaper on Amazon than on Fenchel website as well). And if I’d gone for white it would have been cheaper than a crap Walmart shade. BTW - the white sample was very nice and I totally would have saved the $ and bought it if I weren’t trying to match colors. But the Linen Snow gives a beautiful soft light so I’m so glad I went with that. I have tons of PB and RH lamps and shades, many silk, and Fenchel is the same quality!

Good value for well made shades. I 2as looking for a nicer material to match another navy blue shade I love. I don't love the linen of theses shades, but they will do the trick.
