Great for installing an OS on a NAS
Great SSD for running an internal OS instead of a USB stick. I bought this for a server to install and run TrueNAS on my Aoostar NAS. Works flawlessly. A nice size for the price, and will definitely have extra space for any future OS updates.

Reliable Drive
I bought this in 2020, and lasted 6 years in my computer. Never noticed any slowdown, and worked great. Only reason I replaced it is because I needed more storage. Would definitely recommend.

Working good so far
Just what I needed for another drive for a dual boot build. Going strong for almost a month- hopefully no future troubles. Accurate speeds as listed.

Another quality drive giving an older system new life.
bought this with an adaptor for a really small dell AMD FX 8800p system someone gave me. I didn't need the system, and felt the aging 2tb drive was too old to consider dependable for my nephews so I gave them a 1tb that was newer for storage and this drive as their new main drive for speed. problem was, I had no sata header on the board that was free. I didn't want to take the only one being used by the rom drive as I wanted that drive for my nephews if they ever wanted to watch dvds together or if one was using the xbox, this would increase speed for game performance. so now they have a drive giving an older pc life that might have been sold for very little or scrapped if not donated. a pc that was still capable of running games in hight 720p and low to mid level 1080p which is fine for them. the drive will most likely function longer than this system that it can be used on their next system down the road. so the nvme was actually a good investment. and i can always repurpose the adaptor in that case down the road.

Good value, but may fight a Linux install (Ubuntu 24.04).
Just be aware... When installing Ubuntu 24.04 on the Silicon Power A60 (P34A60), you may encounter low-level controller freezes and timeout errors (such as QID timeout or genctr mismatch). This stems from a hardware/firmware conflict between the drive's DRAM-less controller (often the Silicon Motion SM2263XT or similar) and the Linux kernel's handling of power states and heavy I/O commands. See screenshots for some debugging info. I did a deep dive into debugging the drive and ultimately used an alternative brand/model. This drive appears functional but will be used in a different project.

I'm super impressed with this little thing!
I bought this with the "FIDECO M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure, USB 3.2 Gen 2 to M.2 NVMe Enclosure, PCIe NVMe Adapter for M & M+B Key, Sandwich Style Design, Tool-Free Installation, Support UASP and Trim" to put it in. Both electronic items were shipped with a 12 can box of canned cat food in a padded envelope which initially scared me. I envisioned this SSD being crushed or broken but the clear plastic clamshell packaging was sturdy and it didn't appear damaged. I opened it up, inserted it into the enclosure, and it works great on my computer! It's so much faster than the older smaller one it replaced that I realized I should have replaced it sooner. I primary use this to transfer files between a Windows 11 and an off network Windows 10 computer I use for back up purposes. The speed on this is in the triple vs single digits. I've had it less than a week at this point but so far I'm very very impressed. If it dies later I'll update this review. If I haven't updated it by the time you read this, you can safely assume it's still working like a champ!

Works with Raspberry Pi 5
Used with a Freenove nvme hat on a Raspberry Pi 5 and it worked right away. I had tried using a different nvme before and could not get it to work.

Great Price value
I recently got the Silicon Power 256GB NVMe SSD, and it's amazing! It's super fast, even faster than what they say. My computer boots up lightning quick now. Installing it was easy, but it didn't come with a screw, so keep that in mind. Overall, it's a great buy for the price. Highly recommend!

Review for Lenovo 330s Laptop i5/1TB HDD - SP Silicon Power P34A60 256GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD
Finally, after analysing so many NVMe, I finalized SP P34A60. After upgrading my Lenovo 330s with the SP NVMe 256GB SSD, my laptop has transformed. The performance is stable all time. Boot times are faster, and applications load almost instantly. Initially I thought if it is suitable for my laptop, but it fits and works perfectly. I checked my laptop manual for detail description of available ports. I am using HDD for storage and NVMe for boot. Installation: The installation process was straightforward, and once the SSD was in, Windows booted up within seconds. Migrating my system to the new drive was painless, thanks to cloning software that made transferring my files quick and easy. Reliability: Since installing the SP NVMe SSD, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the laptop’s overall responsiveness. File transfers are faster, and the system is more stable. There’s no sign of slowdown, even when performing resource-heavy tasks. Final Verdict: This SSD has given my Lenovo 330s a new lease on life. If you’re looking to supercharge your laptop without spending a fortune, the SP NVMe 256GB SSD is an excellent choice. It has made my Lenovo 330s feel like an entirely different machine one that’s quick, efficient, and reliable.
