TDI Extended Range & Intro to Trimix Scuba Manual

Being certified TDI Adv Nitrox and Deco and preparing for extended range certification didn’t learn much more from this book.

The prose is at times tortured and the content is lightweight for a serious subject. I do not recommend the book.

Dry, structured, having few exercises but enjoyable text for Extended Range Nitrox and mixed gas.

The first two manuals in the TDI series (Advanced Nitrox and Decompresion Procedures) are characterised by being slightly tiresome and repetitive. Students picking up the Extended Range manual often receive a pleasant surprise at the distinctive shifting of gears in both editorial style and content. This is a serious diving manual and written for people serious about diving.The Extended Range (and Intro to Trimix, which is very much a chapter bolted on at the end) take a much more progressive approach to technical diving, and talk over a number of the more significant challenges that the move in technical diving brings.Even divers who have no interest in technical diving can learn a great deal from the manual in relation to issues which can arise in relation to "deep air" diving, and ways in which divers can address and mitigate those risks.

Good product with useful information. The seller was extremely good and very prompt. So far the best source material for deco diving is ssi's tech xr manual. Lots of the same info, however, ssi has arranged it a little better.
