Amimated Halloween Talk Back Raven

I saw one of these today at Big Lots. It could record my voice, very poorly, and then play it back (sped up and garbled) as soon as I removed my finger from the "record" button. Then it would go on recording random snippets of conversation we were having nearby, and repeat them. Which might be good if you're looking for something like a parrot, to liven up a party. I was hoping to be able to record a particular phrase and have it played over and over when motion activated. But that's no what this does, at least as far as I could tell by reading the directions on the box and playing with it quite a bit. Plus, it's very small, not "raven" sized (the common raven measures 25" in length at maturity). This was more the size of a blackbird or mockingbird.

Just sayin': I saw this exact same thing at Big Lots (Westerville, Ohio) today for $10. My guess is that all Big Lots stores have this item though. It did look like a neat "Halloween novelty thing" especially for $10. It actually repeated what ever you said. The clarity of it's voice (actually a recording your voice) wasn't perfect; but it wasn't all that bad either especially for a "cheap toy" type product.
