I would not recommend this product. The pre-drilled holes do not match up making the assembly process extremely difficult and frustrating. The rack extends way too far out from behind the vehicle when attached and not folded up (see picture). The hitch portion is too small and does not fit snug into the vehicle receiver allowing too much vibration, movement and noise (see picture of gap). The set pin holes do not match for when you fold the rack up, I had to use a hammer and screw driver to get it to go into place. And will have to do this every single time unless I drill the holes bigger. This item is not engineered well. Very disappointed with the quality. I will have to modify it with my own tools to make this work. Very annoying.

I bought this to carry my roll around tool box from site to site. When it arrived there was immediate issues. The part the goes into the receiver hitch on my SUV and welded together incorrectly. It was not square, and was also too long. With it installed it stuck too far out the back of my tahoe and was pitched at such an angle it wouldn't have been able to hold anything. I'm welder by trade so it wasn't a big deal for me to fix this, someone else without the skill or tools would have found this useless and would have needed to return it. The expanded steel deck that it comes it is pathetic at best and broke as soon as there was any pressure applied. ( I hit a bump) I'll remedy that myself also.The net and ratchet straps are mediocre at best. I would not recommend this product at all. I would have spent the extra money on a better.

Product came used. Rusty and banged up with zipties cut.Update on the one star review: giving this product a 4 star review due to the fact that it worked great on my first outing with the family. I took the advice of one of the other buyers and built a skeleton for the cargo bag out of pvc. The bag is thick and waterproof and great quality. When all put together and mounted on the vehicle there is no rattle whatsoever. That is a huge plus for me. It was almost as if it wasnt there at all. And, since i could see it using my rearview or side mirrors sometimes i actually did forget it was there.

This product is not perfect. But it gets the job done for a very reasonable rate. I Purchased the package that included the rack, the weatherproof bag, the straps, the netting, And the device tightening apparatus. Utilizing this carrying rack we were able to easily tote five carry-on luggage bags as well as many other things inside the weatherproof bag. He could easily hold 6 to 7 carry-on luggage bags with space to spare. With the luggage standing upright is still leaves you about 4 inches of clearance on the top to place other items such as pillows.Even if we only use it this one time, it was still worth the money because it allowed us to bring only one vehicle rather than two for the five people in our party.I would recommend this product and I would even buy it again.

The weight limit on this product is definitely not as described. I had was less weight on it than what was described and the cargo hitch slanted forwards towards the ground. I ended up throwing it away. Buy something else with better quality

I received this product fast. It came in 4 pieces and was really easy to put together. The steel seems to be a decent quality and the powder coating is nice. It’s held together with grade 2 bolts which is probably ok but they use nylock nuts so they won’t rattle loose. I’ve had 300lbs on it and I had no problems. The cargo net and the straps are a nice plus. This product seems to be the real deal at the price which is much cheaper then most others similar to it.

Product works ok, but it doesn’t allow me too open the tailgate to my Jeep all the way, tire hits the basket. Also, it was a little scratched up when opening the box.

Carrier is showing rust after 2 months of EVERYDAY use, but is still holding up. For the relatively low cost of this carrier, I am pleased so far. The only complaint I have is, I wish it would have come with more reflective tape.
