I was a little bit skeptical ordering this backpack. I needed a light-weight rolling bag that would hold my too-heavy laptop and my lunch and be small enough to fit under any airline seat. This bag is PERFECT! High-quality material with lots of space inside for my 15.6 laptop that I keep in a neoprene sleeve AND the huge charger AND my kit bag with cables AND my ipad AND my lunch AND my wallet/keys/hairbrush/junk. I could probably fit a change of clothes in there as well. This bag really has a lot of space for such a small footprint. I actually ordered the next size up first and returned it because it was too big for my needs - the Sunny is perfect.It rolls easy even on rough pavement. I love the bright color choices (hot pink speckle!), but it also comes in navy and black for a more professional look. And best of all - it FITS under the seat of any airline with room to spare. This is an excellent little bag!

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter who has been begging for a backpack with wheels. We choose this design because the price had dropped to $25. The backpack is a nice size. She is able to fit school supplies, lunch bag, water bottle, jacket, and there is still room for more. It looks like the mechanism is though. My only complaint is that the mesh pockets on the outside already have holes. This happened within the first month. Looking at other reviews I know it’s not just us. Fix the issue and it will be worthy of 5 stars.***Update***My daughter has now had the backpack for almost a year and it’s still holding up. I also bought one for my son at the beginning of the school year. Both my kids abuse their backpacks (toss, throw, sit on it, and try to ride it) and none of the mechanisms have broken. I did notice that my son’s (blue dog pattern one) began to fade quickly. I’m blaming it on the fact that they leave their backpacks outside and get a lot of sun exposure (we live in sunny CA). Other than that I’m completely satisfied. Hoping they drop in price so I can purchase two more for the following school year.

This is the first review I have ever done on Amazon as I was so compelled to write a review on this backpack. I spent hours reviewing backpacks on wheels and models I came across, whether inexpensive or expensive had mixed reviews on some level. So, I went with the less expensive, and could not be more pleased with this backpack. It traveled with me through Europe for 10 days on planes, trains, buses, etc. It was wheeled on cobblestones and concrete many times, and it was stuffed. I returned with it without a single, damaged stitch; wheels and handle both working just fine. At this stage, I would definitely recommend this backpack.A few months back I bought a wheeled duffel bag (completely different brand and style) and after one flight as a simple domestic, carry on, the material ripped. The material on this back pack is sturdy and not flimsy.

Easy to use, small, worked well in overhead. Also easy to maneuver on long airport hikes.

I bought the "Sunny" J World New York rolling backpack for my 8 year old specifically to use as his FREE personal item on Frontier Airlines, which restricts the size to 18x14x8 inches as of summer 2021. The dimensions in the posted description are NOT accurate, particularly the depth of the bag. I measure them to be 17.5x12.5x10.5" at full capacity (though not over-stuffed). I have no idea how they came up with a depth of 7.5 or 8 inches. (Why are both numbers are seen in the listing?) Even measuring the back of the bag (excluding wheels) to the front edge of just the plastic base is 8.5". Too bad I didn't measure it before he took it on an overnight to grandma's. I plan to under pack it and possibly add extra straps/bungees to get it on the plane for free. Bag construction looks solid. The handle will likely be the first thing to break. I would not give this to my kid to take to school, but maybe yours is more careful with their belongings. Has a couple of handle heights, so it works for my short son and for me. (I'm only 5'3".)

He always has soooo many textbooks to carry around. I am super glad we picked it up for him. After all these years the zippers are still great, and the fabric has not degraded or ripped at all.

Disabled daughter used it as a school bag rather than using a back pack. It was the perfect size for school.
