This little pressure cuff exceeded our expectations. We were replacing a traditional BP cuff, and I liked the size and description of this, so decided to give it a try. This is used by our very elderly father, who take his BP several times a day. This takes accurate readings and it easy to use. There is a voice which speaks the results, which is also nice. NOTE: It is a little difficult for an older or movement/coordination impaired person to get on, but it can be done... so please note - an older or 'impaired' family member/person may need help. (This is not a criticism - it seems the design is as good as possible - just something to keep in mind if the person in need doesn't have help)

A simple, inexpensive wrist monitor that is very easy to set up and use. The display is bright and easy to read and the voice feature that reads aloud all of the measurements after testing is a nice feature for an older person with less than. perfect vision

Neat product, easy to use and came well packaged. Not as accurate as my classic big BP machine, but results are very close. Easy travel size makes it a convenient choice.

This MMIZOO BP monitor was less than half the price of my Omron, which was chewed by my puppy and no longer worked; I have now had the MMIZOO for almost a year and have been consistently pleased with how easy it is to use and how reliable. It also "talks": it tells you the steps to take your BP, tells you when it the reading is over, and states the reading aloud ("One twelve over seventy-two....") and is very pleasant! Happy with my talking blood pressure monitor!

I've never owned a personal blood pressure monitor before, so I didn't really know what to expect where performance and quality is concerned. My doctor gave me some medication which, in rare cases, can cause problems with your blood pressure and heart rate. Since I was already on heart medication because my heart has premature ventricular contractions, which means, essentially, that I have occasional extra heartbeats. So my doctor wanted to monitor my blood pressure and heart, and recommended that I buy a personal blood pressure monitor. I did my due diligence and researched until I found one that was highly recommended, and this one seemed the most promising. I won't bore you with a lengthy, detailed review. I'll just say that this one works, and it works well. The readings it takes are consistent, and are always in the same range as blood pressure readings which are taken at my doctor's office. I use this in conjunction with an app on my cell phone which helps to track blood pressure and heart rate readings, and this has been invaluable in documenting how my heart is performing over time (and especially in documenting that I'm not having any of those rare problems my doctor was worried about, and that the new medicine got along with my heart medication). This one fits snugly on your wrist and is held in place with velcro (I'm a big guy but have plenty of strap left, so it should fit most people). Once in place, there's a button on the bottom which you press to get it started. And that's pretty much it. There's an audible voice which tells you to be quiet and hold the cuff at heart level, and then it tightens up and slowly releases to get your blood pressure and heart rate, and it tells you what it is. Easy as pie. As I said, the readings this device took have always been in the same range as the readings taken by my doctor. This is about as painless, and as accurate, as it gets where a home / personal blood pressure monitor gets. If I have one complaint, it's that the screen is not backlit. That can make it harder to read if you're not in ideal lighting, since it's black letters against a light grey background. But unless you're taking your blood pressure in the dark, this shouldn't be a problem. And I'm sure it saves batteries. That's the only complaint I have about this device, and that's a minor complaint. If the one I have should stop working, I'll but another one without hesitation. For me, that's all that really needs to be said about it.

A cardiologist told me to buy a blood pressure cuff so I could measure my BP daily. She warned me the wrist cuff is less accurate than the upper arm cuff. I looked for this in a drugstore first but while you can get them in drugstores it has to be a pretty big drugstore so I went to the Amazon website. Well, there are dozens of alternatives and I admit I looked for an inexpensive unit and also one that was automatic since I don't have the skills necessary to run the kind you need to pump up with a rubber bulb. I picked one that had good ratings on the Amazon site and ordered it. It arrived promptly and in perfect condition. It uses AAA size batteries (2) and it was easy to put them in. No tools are required. I didn't realize till I opened the package that it was the wrist kind. I didn't feel justified in sending it back, I figure any number is better than no number. I read the instructions. It wasn't that hard to get the device to run. It talks and that's irritating rather than helpful since the digital readout is large and clear, although it might not be visible at some angles. I got numbers that were all over the map, from 155 to 126 for the more important high number, the systolic. Human nature being what it is, I tended to run it multiple times until I got numbers that were low enough to be "normal", then I stopped for the day. The graph I tried to append shows the scatter. As an engineer I find the output suspect. Maybe none of the points are accurate, maybe some are. All of them can't be right. The ones in vertical lines are taken on the same day. I think the important variables are that (1) the screen of the device be centered on the inside of your wrist, and (2) that the measurement be taken at the level of your heart. Positioning it so the center of the screen is exactly above the artery in your wrist, the one you'd feel to take your pulse if you've mastered that skill, is very hard because you can't make it too tight because of the shape of it, and tightening it changes its position. So, this device gives you numbers to fill in on a chart. How good are they? I don't know. if your doctor wants you to measure your BP and you would rather do it yourself than go visit a nurse who's trained to do this, maybe this device will give enough results to keep the doctor from bothering you. But if she increases your medication based on the results, my guess is it's all myth and you should insist on corroboration by someone with actual medical training. Does the upper arm version give better results? I don't know and I'm not motivated enough to find out.

This blood pressure cuff has a little bit of a learning curve and isn’t the most accurate. The monitor needs to be placed on your wrist with the screen facing you, and leave your wrist against your chest while taking the measurement. I do like that it has a large display, and will verbally read your measurement to you and will notify you if it is high or low. It will also store your 5 most recent readings, which makes it easy if you’re tracking over a period of time. It comes in a case, which makes it easy to care for and keep up with. For the price, it’s not bad and once you get over the learning curve, it’s not a bad monitor for home use.

Terrible machine should removed from sales the readings was so bad I had to go to hospital for 6 hours to find out it was very out just now it said 211 over 132 true reading on a surgery's machine are 152 over 88
