ChemiClean 2g treats up to 300 gallons. It helps clean stains from red, black, blue-green, and methane (bubble) producing cyanobacteria in marine aquariums. It is completely safe for all fish, corals, invertebrates, and nitrifying bacteria in reef systems. It's simple, quick and easy to use. Chemiclean works within 48 hours oxidizing trapped organic sludge and promotes an ideal enzyme balance. ChemiClean will clean stains from red cyanobacteria in aquariums. Aquarium oxygen levels MUST be increased using heavy aeration or large air stone. Turn off UV sterilizer, ozonizer, and remove Chemi-pure, or carbon during treatment. Continue using protein skimmer, although skimmer may require adjustment to prevent excessive overflow. Maintain normal water flow using pumps and power heads. For every ten (10) gallons of aquarium water, dissolve one level scoop (included) of ChemiClean into one cup of water removed from the aquarium. Pour solution with dissolved ChemiClean back into aquarium, dispersing evenly. Successful treatment may take up to 48 hours. After the 48 hour treatment period, perform a 20% water change. Turn on UV sterilizer, ozonizer, and replace Chemi-pure or carbon. Repeat as necessary. I typically never used "miracle" products because I've heard hundreds of horror stories over the years and just shake my head. I had an extremely rare outbreak of cyano from my typical ignoring my reef tank when summer comes along. lol So, I read about this, got a recommendation from my buddy, and decided to try it. THIS STUFF IS INCREDIBLE! CYANO GONE! About 3-4 days after applying, all is gone! I did go in to the crevasses of some rocks with a toothbrush and loosen the last tiny bit of it to fully eradicate it. Barely had to lift a finger!I'm 61 years old with nearly 30 years of continuous reef tank keeping and this is a product I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Amazing! :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked great!!!! *by S***. on November 6, 2016* Work perfect. Took 48 hours. I have a 55 gallon. This red bacteria took over my tank pretty fast. Miced 5 scoops of chemi-clean in a cup. Pour the mixture into the fish tank and 48 hours later it was completely gone. Did a 25% water change after. Fish are fine.. Before and after photos attached. After 48 hours ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works fantastic!!! *by R***E on January 27, 2018* This worked fantastic. I had a large outbreak of purple slime bacteria. I tried lighting water changes adjustments on flow rate and everything I could think of to try to remedy the problem. As a last resort I resorted to chemiclean. I am not a fan of chemical's in my reef tank, my quarantine tank ok but not my reef tank. I read the directions and followed them to the letter. I woke up this morning and to my amazement every bit of the bacteria was gone, my fish, inverts, and corals were fine, and my protein skimmer is going nuts. That is what I expected with the skimmer though.This stuff is amazing.. it worked perfectly for the bacteria problem I had. Be sure to do at least a 20% water change 48 hours after treating your tank.I'll provide a follow up in a few months as i plan on using this on my maintenance regiment for the tank, as they suggest..
