Works as intended, honing a rusted hobby cannon barrel.
Works as intended for my use. I bought this to hone the barrel out of a hobby black powder cannon. The barrel had rust built up inside. Adding cutting oil liberally while honing really helped the process. Shaft length could be longer but I was able to hone from both ends of the barrel to complete the job. Worked well for me. It's in the cannon box now for future use with this.

Helped with mounting new Electric motor to bicycle!
I used this to slightly enlarge a bottom bracket (the part the pedal crank goes through) on a cheap bicycle. I am installing a new electric motor and front sprocket to it. The minimum size for the motor to fit is 33.5mm, and this bike was just slightly less than that. The motor would not slide through the hole and mount.2 minutes after I opened this package, the motor fit into the bottom bracket perfectly!Worked ideally for this project! I highly recommend this tool, in this size, if you have the same issue.

I used this to deglaze a cylinder for my Stihl 661C.Oiled the hone with 30 weight oil and ran in forward and reverse in and out 3 times in each direction on the low setting of a cordless drill. Make sure it's spinning before you push it into the cylinder and pull it all the way out before you stop. Check it, then go maybe 5 more times max. Honing was the last step in the cleaning process.

Sizing issues?
I purchased the 1-1/8" (28.6mm) hone, but the hone outside diameter actually measures 1-1/4" (31.75mm). Am I missing something?

Great tool for what it is
Don’t count on it to be delivered on time, Amazon screwed the pooch again, about time to drop Prime, every delivery is after their “scheduled” delivery date

The best
Worked perfectly for dodge 4.7 lifter bores, one lifter was stuck due to damage to the lifter boss caused by the rocker arm falling out of place. After getting creative and getting it out, this hone had a new one easily gliding in and out within 10 seconds of medium speed drilling.
