I don’t like it. It is heavier and doesn’t work as well as the former on my fine hair. If you are going for spiky hair it would probably work well but I will not purchase it again. **Q: i ordered this before and they sent a different product that was heavier than this product which didn't work for me. Anyone else have this problem?** A: Yes, I will not order this again **Q: How does this "gel" compare to Keune's style curl "cream" for curly and wavy hair? Does it make your hair stiff?** A: I found the cream makes my hair stiff & with the gel I don’t use as much & no it doesn’t make it stiff ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for wavy hair *by P***E on May 7, 2025* Great product! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Gel! *by R***. on July 7, 2022* The gel works so well and it’s great Amazon has it! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great to use as a root lifter and frizz tamer for long, fine, wavy hair *by K***B on December 13, 2024* My favorite way to use this hair gel is to use just a little (about the size of a pea in each hand) and gently massage it at the upper scalp area to lift the roots of the hair. A little goes a long way! It gives me immediate volume without feeling sticky or stiff. It's also good for taming frizz and helping hold wavy curls for touch ups in between washes. ## Frequently Bought Together - Keune Style Ultra Gel, Strong Hold & Shine Styling Gel for Wavy & Curly Hair, 6.8 Fl Oz - Keune Care Color Brillianz Conditioner, Color-Safe & UV-Protecting Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair, 8.5 Fl Oz - Keune Care Vital Nutrition Shampoo, Intense Nourishing & Moisturizing Cleanser for Dry or Damaged Hair, 10.1 Fl Oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/165306574-keune-style-ultra-gel-strong-hold-and-shine-styling-gel](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/165306574-keune-style-ultra-gel-strong-hold-and-shine-styling-gel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
