Strong, clear, and covers our table while the cats are roaming and we are away,

I got this for my dining room table that is more of a mail sorting station. I use the table for everything but eating. I was looking for very thick plastic that would last. This has not disappointed. I don’t worry about the table, it’s thick enough to stay in place and hold up. Ordering more 3 yrs later as I get ready to paint. I needs a few more for some items I don’t want that light weight painting tarp on. Don’t get me wrong, that super light painting tarp does the job for some things but I want something heavier that stays in place. This has more heft.

Pros: Durable, wipes clean easily, crystal clear, not cheap looking.Cons: Had a powdery film all over it, but did wipe off with a cloth. Had very bad creases/folds in it, but luckily most of them came out after I tossed it in my dryer on the lowest setting for less than a minute. Be very careful if you do this, check every 10 seconds. Also has a chemical smell to it so I am wondering if it is safe to use on our every day dinner table.

I’ve always used plastic over my tablecloths .So I have decades of experience with plastic table covers. But I haven’t been able to go to the store and buy one. Decided to try this one when I bought my new tablecloth. I love it! It’s the perfect weight. It drapes down perfectly. It flows ..Not cheap. It comes folded, but I know it will smooth out. Of course plastic has a smell to it, but it’s only temporary. I highly recommend this plastic table cover. I plan to buy another one in case the business moves or something.

I like that it’s easy to clean especially if you have kids and do crafts at the table .

Purchased this to go on our kitchen table over our tablecloth so that the table cloth would be protected. It arrived folded, in a padded envelope.The tablecloth was indeed thick, which was what we were after. The tablecloth however, was rather difficult to unfold and had hard creases from where it was folded. We laid it on top of our cloth tablecloth and put heavy items on top of the creases in the hopes of getting them to lay flat. That did not work. My husband and I then used a heat gun, on low to warm the vinyl up while I pulled at the crease with my hands and arms. That seemed to work a bit, but not near as much as we had hoped.We finally took a piece of parchment paper and our clothes iron and ran over the creases multiple times to help get them out. It worked to a degree, but you can still see the creases in the vinyl. The creases are not as bad as what they were, but they are still there. We went over them with the clothes iron on hot (no steam) for about an hour before we gave up for the night because we were either tired or hot from using the iron. I don't expect they creases will ever come out. They may by the time both of us turn 60 years old (we are more than half that age right now so we got a long ways to go before we turn 60) but I wouldn't count on it.
