A simple DisplayPort to HDMI adapter
Does what it simply says it does, nice build quality being made out of metal and all. no wire or nothing, plug it into the displayport, instant end to HDMI.

Sleek and easy to use
I built a PC with an RTX 2070 Super, which only has one HDMI port, and since my CPU doesn't have onboard graphics (Ryzen 5 3600) I couldn't connect both my primary monitor and my secondary drawing monitor to the GPU at the same time through their default HDMI cables. However, my GPU has a bunch of DP ports so I was looking for an adapter than could allow me to use both monitors at the same time and this was the simple and sleek solution. This adapter is unidirectional, which was confusing at first because I wasn't sure if it was going to work for me, but then I realised that I was in the lucky spot where I was trying to change the signal coming from the computer, not the signal coming from the monitor; the adapter won't work if you're trying to convert your monitor from HDMI to DisplayPort through the port directly connected to the monitor, it will only work if you're trying to convert the signal coming from the computer. So I've just plugged the end of my monitor's HDMI cable into the adapter, and then plugged the adapter into the DisplayPort on my GPU, and everything works like a dream. No issues with flashing, latency, or anything. It's truly plug and play, and there are no addtional wires between the HDMI and DP sections to boot. Highly recommend this to anyone in the same situation as me.

Works well, but has one flaw
I found that this adapter does a nice job with allowing me to convert one of the DisplayPort ports on my GeForce 1060 to an HDMI port, so I can display Windows 10 on my 1080p HDTV. The image quality is great, and it works reliably. That said, I need to wait for Windows 10 to finish booting before it will display anything on the screen. Since I can't see anything in the BIOS or the Windows 10 boot screen, I'm going to be in trouble if this system runs into a problem and decides not to boot correctly. I also can't get into the BIOS to change settings while plugged into the TV, or boot the PC off of a DVD or USB thumb drive.Other than that, this adapter does the job as expected.

Low Profile, Good Price!
When I ordered monitors for my work-from-home setup (like so many others, I'm telecommuting), I forgot that the work-supplied docking station has two Display Port connectors. My monitors are HDMI only. The docking station doesn't give me much space between the two ports, so I have to have low-profile, slimline adapters. The larger, bulkier ones I tried before buying the Starware ones that I'm reviewing here simply did not do the trick. If I needed only one adapter, to run one monitor, it would have been fine. But like so many other people out there, I'm running two monitors on a work-issued laptop because I need a workstation that actually, you know, works for me.These Starware adapters are slimline. There's no problem using them side by side on the docking station. They also work right out of the box; I didn't have to mess with downloads or other such things before getting everything set up and running. After a few weeks with these adapters, I'm still a happy camper and will cheerfully buy more Starware-branded products in the future if I ever need them. These are reasonably priced (they're less than half the price of what I paid, in a big-box store, for the first adapters I tried and then returned), both of them worked perfectly right out of the box, and I haven't had to give either of them any real thought since setting up my workstation.

Highly Recommended: 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter Direction - A Game-Changer for Your Setup
I recently purchased the 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter (NOT USB) [High-Speed, 2K 60Hz, 1080p 120Hz] Uni-Direction and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This adapter is a game-changer for anyone looking to connect their computer to a 4K display. The high-speed and 2K 60Hz and 1080p 120Hz support ensure that my video and audio are smooth and lag-free.The build quality is also top-notch. The adapter feels durable and well-constructed, and the connectors fit securely into my computer and display. I also appreciate that it is a uni-directional adapter, which allows for a more organized and clean setup.I've been using this adapter for a few weeks now and have had no issues at all. The picture and sound quality is fantastic, and the adapter supports the resolutions and refresh rates that I need.Overall, I highly recommend this 4K DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter (NOT USB) [High-Speed, 2K 60Hz, 1080p 120Hz] Uni-Direction. It's a great value for the price and it is a must-have for anyone looking to connect their computer to a 4K display.

Build quality
Pros:Compact: What distinguished this adapter from others is that it has no wire between the HDMI/DP portions. It’s just one solid piece, which I think is more compact and reliable and less of a hassle.Material: I’ve tried many adapters as I use them in my Bitcoin mining farm with more than 80 GPUs, most of them were super cheaply made, some of them came with fallen out covers, some broke in the first use, this one however is well constructed with high quality material, unlike the plastic adapter I used to have.Worked!: I tested the adapter in my gaming monitor, ASUS ROG Swift PG348Q that had a malfunctioning DP slot. It worked nicely with no major problems. This monitor’s resolution is 3440*1440.Plug and play: No need for any software or boring drivers to be installed.Cons:It got a little bit warm after long use, not dangerously though.

Ich darf ja keine Kritik äußern (sonst zensiert Amazon): Also Lob

Works without issue when others didn't
This is a great little device that worked straight away. I have an HP laptop with a docking station that two Displayport outputs, and I needed to convert them to HDMI for my monitors. I've had limited success with Passive adaptors, (got one monitor working but not two), a Startech active adaptor -they make excellent adaptors and cables, but could only get one working, and I tried a couple of other less know active brand of adaptors. Now my laptop and docking station are both 1.3 HDCP & DPCP so really even the passive cables should have worked. However no combination worked properly, the closest I came was with one working and one flicking off/on intermittently. I know cable conversion can often be a bit of a dark art, so knew this 'Should' work in theory even though getting the handshaking to work as it should is always a bit hit and miss. Anyway these adaptors work out the box without any messing and I'm now running my 2 x 2k monitors from the docker, so am quite happy. One thing I did notice was that they get a bit warm. warmer than I'm entirely happy with, but certainly not hot, or even to warm to handle. They are active devices after all so some heat dissipation is expected, but I'll keep an eye on them for a couple of days just to make sure they don't get 'Egg frying' hot. Anyway definitely recommend them.
