The item was not what I ordered. Described is a Tech EraWaterproof License Plate Rear-view Camera. It is supposed to be made of sturdy Metal casting, and supposed to have 8 IR (Infra Red) LED lights for help with night vision. The item I received was a E-Sky Waterproof License Plate Rear-view Camera. It is made of cheap plastic, no Metal casting. It has not 1 single light, much less the 8 IR LED Lights that were advertised. I'm not sure if they sent the wrong item to me by mistake, or if I was scammed. Contacted seller and Amazon for return.

I just got the camera in the mail today and i hooked it up to two different tvs. Both gave a horrible picture. I could barely see a thing out of the camera. I hope that its just a defective unit and i am returning it first thing tomorrow and i will follow up as soon as i get another one.UPDATE! i have gotten a replacement and it is working as described! its been a few months. The camera has been through ice, snow, and rain and has not stopped working so yay!!!! Also the night vision is pretty damn good too!!

Easy to install and very durable, Great Picture quality. only downside is that the camera is fixed and there is no way of adjusting the angle.

Camera works great with my Lanzar 7" single Din motorized DVD receiver. If the screen is stored, it will come out as soon as you hit reverse and store itself again when you select any other gear or neutral.Took it to the car wash and it still works perfectly.I honestly thought the IR was gonna be a joke, but I stand corrected as it works very good at night.I recommend getting also back up sensors, since some cars won't give you a reference point and you might be closer or further than you may think

its a nice back up cam for the money. it is much heavier than I expected. the camera is adjustable, and the install was easy
