A: I see what you are saying. I suppose if you are looking the direction of the face forward of the battery... red means live (+) and black means ground (-), use that more than left and right on a picture.

A: From Louisiana to Southern California the Interstate brand batteries are made by a Johnson Controls manufacturing plant in Monterrey, Mexico. In the other states, the batteries are made by Johnson Controls in the United States.
