My daughter did hers for school also, we put it in a medium size moving box for carrying it in. **Q: What are total # of pieces? Does it include the sun? I can't tell** A: Yes it includes the sun. Its around 31 pieces altogether. Each planet is in 2 pieces, there are individual hangers and then the cross bar to hang them from.
