Apartment Video Intercom System, 3 Units Household Video Doorbell

I installed the AMOCAM Apartment Video Intercom System and converted our old door to electric, and the tenants absolutely love it! This item itself is pretty nice. Clear picture and voice. Took 8 hours to install. The main issue I have with this item is that you should not buy the suggested items that Amazon posts are most often purchased with this Video system; such as the Lee Electronics 323M 16VAC Power Supply and the RCI Electric door Strike. These items are not compatible and will not work together!

I've had this system now for two and a half years, when it works it works well. But its not suitable for permanent installation, or anything other than very light occasional use. The connectors are crappy, wiggling the wires will give you intermittent contact; will not survive repeated unplugging and replugging. I've had two of the indoor units fail (no sound at the indoor station) and had to replace them. Basically this unit is made as cheaply as possible, and will not survive anything other than super light use.

I have to update my rating now that one of my tenants informed me that her bell has stopped working just 3 short months after installation of this intercom system. My previous review was given only a couple weeks after installation, when everything was working properly. This is disappointing; a three month shelf-life is unacceptable for the price point.

Love it

The product arrived in good condition. Though it clearly stated, you would to supply wiring, that was an understatement! The system works as advertised, but the way my electrician installed it, he did not need an additional power supply for the door strike. power from the 7" monitor's were more than enough to activate it. I would definitely buy this again.

تم تركيب 3 شاشات لربطها بأكثر من مدخل حسب الوصف ولكن الشاشات لا تقبل ربط اكثر من نظام مع العلم بأن الشاشة مهيأه لمدخلين وتم اضافة مزود طاقة والثلاث طوابق لا تعمل مواصفات المنتج غير مطابقة للاستخدام لاكثر من مدخل او بعد ١٥ متر

I just installed the unit last week and the door control doesn’t work. I contacted the seller several times and they have been of no help at all. Don’t buy anything from them they don’t support what they sell…
