These red shrimp are an excellent food to feed aquatic turtles since I started feeding this to my aquatic turtle she has not been wanting to eat any other aquatic turtle foods only this.

Our rescue turtle that we saved from the local pond loves this shrimp and swims against the glass to get it. She eats it everyday!!!

First off, the size of this jar for the price is just awesome! I paid almost $7 for a tiny jar of these when I first got my two musk turtles. So when I came across this product, I was a bit skeptical. But I'm so glad I took a chance! My shipment was delayed but I'm not going to penalize the company for that. It happens. As soon as I got the shrimp, I opened them. The jar was sealed under the lid so I know they were new. The shrimp were moist and fresh. They are all decent sized without a bunch of small pieces like some others we've tried. I'm not sure why some are an orangish/brown/red and others are sort of white but my turtles didn't seem to notice or mind. They both devoured the shrimp as soon as I dropped them in the tank. I HIGHLY recommend this product!!! It will take my turtles a long time to get through this big container, but I'll definitely purchase more in the future.

As anyone would expect these dried shrimp have a pretty strong odar our cats come running in when we open the bottle but we have to let them know it's not for them our turtles on the other hand looooove these things I mean they tear them up for the price it's well worth it and my babies love em it's a perfect protein source for them

Our red-eared slider loves this shrimp. He gets so excited whenever Daddy comes to visit and pulls out the shrimp bottle. So Toby the turtle says pass me the shrimp please Daddy.

Our turtle absolutely loves the shrimp, always gets so excited since we treat them as a snack. Go through about a pack every few months, cheaper than in stores and great to have around!

My turtle needs extra calcium, and this does the job. After I started feeding this to him, his shells look healthier, and he eats better. This product is the first in years that made a difference in his health. He gets tuna, lettuce and fruits, in addition to this. Nice big pieces of shrimp inside the box. Recommended for older turtles, I think the pieces are too big for babies.

Found a Painted turtle on the road and picked it up before it got crushed. Ended up bringing it home as my daughter would stop saying how cute it is. Bought this food for it but it wouldn't eat it. Gave it some pellet food and it ate it right away. Not sure if its the food type, flavor or if I got a picky turtle so I wont be able to say if this particular brand food is good but Ill give 5stars just because the shipping was fast and the product looks to be of good quality.
