There's No Such Place as Far Away

This is a beautiful book, just wish I’d known that someone wrote a note in it to someone on inside cover. Love Richard Bach so this will be a copy I keep for myself!

Thank you for Richard Bach's "There's no such place as far away". I had the book many years ago and with so many others, I lost it in the 2004 Tsunami. It's a book that comforts beautifully with it's story and pictures when one feels extremely lonely and homesick. It's almost out of print and hard to find. That's why I bought the last two books in stock - one for me and one for a good friend who's in great need of it. Both are in great shape and I'm over the moon to have received them safely on my tiny island in the Maldives.

I've read most of Richard Bach's books... This one as well many years ago.That said... No Such Place as Far Away to anyone that isn't familiar with Illusions and Jonathan Livingston Seagull may find this a little bit odd" or more like a Birthday Card..

This is the only Richard Bach book which I haven't read, but had read fantastic reviews about it and knew roughly what it was about. I decided to buy it as a stocking filler for our daughter for Xmas,particularly because she lives and works a long way from family. After it arrived, I read it with a lump in my throat and passed it without saying anything for my wife to read. A few minutes later, she put it down with tears rolling down her face - tears of joy.We don't know what our daughter's reaction will be but I suspect the same as my wife's and I'm hoping that the book will be passed to successive generations of our family. What an incredible impact the right words can have!

This is an absolute gem to be contemplated and reread many times. Thank you, Mr. Bach! Thank you for sharing your pointings toward truth and beauty.

If anyone knows this book you will know that when you can fly with the birds, be anywhere or with anyone you want to with just a decision you will know that when you have this ability you must pass this gift on in this book. I finally did that this year to one of my children and it was one of the most poignant moments of my life as I have had this book and used it for the past 35 years! I think everyone should know this teaching and hold it in their hearts. There is magic in this world, you just have to know it for yourself.

A friend gave me my first copy of this book many years ago shortly before we were to be parted. Yes, I still missed him, but I knew the book was right. It's been my companion through tough times on many occasions through the years. As Richard Bach says "can miles truly separate you from friends? If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there?" Short? Yes. Simple? No. Worth buying? Yes!!!!!!!!!!! There's philosophy and truth and so much more that I can't put into words. Everyone should have someone special enough to give this book to.Does all that make sense? I hope so. Whatever, just buy it!

This can be a beautiful gift for someone birthday, especially if you are apart. You can read in 30min.

This is the perfect book to send to someone special that is separated from you by distance.
