If you’ve never used a tampon without an applicator, these may not be for you. They can be hard to adjust to (so I’m told) I’ve used these since I started my menstrual cycle. I love the discreet size as you can put them in the little pocket in jeans, a small pocket of your purse, or even your sleeve for a moment on the way to the toilet. The sizes always seem to be on point for me and I have rarely have leaks. (We all know those heavy flow days can be rough)

Can be counted on. No applicator. Better for environment and discreet.

Favorite brand and type of tampon. I wish they still made the small size, but oh well.

I've been using o.b. since I was a teenager. This is the only tampon that's fragrance free, cotton-based, and lives up to my expectations. Using a "no applicator" tampon in the US is uncommon, but creates so much less waste. Also, the tampon lasts much longer than competitor's products and this is THE ONLY tampon that I fully trust and feel comfortable with and don't have to think about while moving around. I also love that the new wrapper can easily be twisted off rather than having to look for the wrapper edge to open it.

These tampons are by far the best. I was recommended these about 2 years ago and haven’t looked back. They don’t have an applicator which turns some people off, but it’s an easy adjustment. They’re affordable, good for the environment, and more absorbent than other brands. The strings are strong, they keep me dry for long periods of time. I tend to bleed through super tampons often, but these somehow stop the spillage even when my flow is very heavy. I will always recommend these.

Great value pack, reduces waste in comparison to buying tampons that come with an applicator and easier to pack along when travelling. No complaints.

First time buyer and wasn't sure what to expect but overall good experience! Opened the box and was shocked how compact it was... wasn't sure if a single Obi tampon would absorb what I want it to. After fluffing it out, it was as big as Tampax regular tampons. HOW TO REMOVE WRAPPING: Took me a few times to figure out how to efficiently remove the wrapping without touching the clean tampon with my fingers/ hands too much as it will be going into my body... ** Check out the photos for a step to step guide!!** PERSONAL I am usually a light to medium flow gal, occasional heavy (usually the first day). Irregular flow as sometimes it can be light then medium then light again in the same cycle. Was using Tampax as it was more affordable than other brands I've tried. Decided to try a budget friendly Obi as necessity costs add up. In the recent period cycle, I used a Tampax super for the night as it is usually a larger flow. Then I started using Obi the day after. I change it out after 3.5 to 4 hours and it kept everything together. No leakage. I'm pleasantly pleased and want to continue using Obi on light to medium days. Uncertain how far can one Obi regular really go but it is currently matching the Tampax regulars. CONs 1. Hard to remove the plastic wrapping at first but after some practice, I am OK. 2. The plastic wrapping. It feels worst from my initial Tampax where they use paper wrappings and paper inserts. I guess the plastic keeps it compact..? 3. I am OK with inserting Obi tampons with my fingers. It may be an issue to some people. Although there are cons, it is a pretty good product to use and since I'm replacing Tampax regulars with Obi regulars, I consider this a win.

I don’t know why more girls don’t use OB. Ok, you have to stick them yourself but it’s not hard! If you’re dryer, just put a little bit of water and they will get right in deep. Just make sure you follow instructions, pull the cord and flatten (widen) the bottom BEFORE you enter it. They are so easy to put in small purses, I always have a few at hand, different sizes, doesn’t take room, no one knows what it is. Lol it’s so easy to hide in your hand or pocket when going to the bathroom.

Every winter I suffer from horrible nosebleeds so use these to absorb the blood until the bleeding stops or I can get to the hospital (almost an hour away) to have my nose cauterized. Not having an applicator makes it easier to put in my nostril.
