I always thin it out with water and use a makeup brush to apply it. I pretty much use this watered down every day. At full strength it will last for about 3 to 5 days. But full strength does not give me a natural look. It looks better and more natural when I water it down. It also stains better when the beard is warm and you just came out of the shower. Number K98 is my color and I get good comments about my sharp lines and full looking low cut beard. Makes me look 10 years younger. I've used other permanent dyes which do not look and work as well.
