In 1977, my father bought a cheap disco ball. We mounted it on the ceiling in the basement, surrounded by three colored spot lights. For $60 in parts and hours spent running wires and installing fixtures and switches, mirrors started to fall off the ball and we could hear the motor when the room was quiet. The ball also hung too low. This light is the size and shape of a light bulb and screws into any fixture. It used only 3 watts (our spots were 75 watts each) and is completely silent. I am using one in an uplight fixture to illuminate the underside of a patio umbrella.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this June 5th, and I just received it yesterday August 6th. Now on to the bulbs themselves. On the box, it states they’re sound activated; they are not. There weren’t any instructions. And as far as I know, there is only one light setting. I’m not able to change the colors or the patterns shown. All in all, it’s a very beautiful and intense lightbulb.

These little bulbs are amazing I got two of them for my grandkids and they loved them so much that I think that I'm going to be buying more of them because even the grown-ups wanted to know where I got them the only thing is that they take forever to come and they didn't pack them well at all I couldn't believe that they worked right out of the pack because they had no security bubble wrap or nothing inside of the packaging they were just thrown in a envelope and mailed out from china, otherwise they turned out to be great little bulbs. I guess I just got lucky.

I had another light like it and it reached the end of its life so i got this to replace it. Works very nicely but i noticed it took a few uses for it to start spinning at the regular speed since at the beginning it was spinning very slowly. Nice for bedrooms

I ordered two of these for the outside garage lights (dusk to dawn) during the week of Christmas. Worked fine the first year, but last December, one of them stopped rotating.

Its smaller then I thought it would be, but it works. Bought 2 but lost one of the screw that hold the plastic dome to the metal shaft. What I'm saying is it could have been made better with some kind of locking screw.
