For the price I think it's worth every penny I tried a hdmi adapter cable for my ps2 and playing God of War was almost unplayable just way too dark this component to hdmi solved my issue now I'm playing God of War on a 65 inch flat screen and it looks beautiful I couldn't be happier with it and will see how long it holds up seems well built

I have a lot of DVDs that I would like to play on my new Samsung TV. This converter box does an excellent job of converting the component video stream and audio to ah HDMI connection. When it displays it is crisp and clear. The problem I have is that it works perfectly with the DVDs that I have made, BUT DOES NOT WORK WITH A COMMERCIALLY PRODUCED DVD (like a movie). With a purchased DVD, I load the DVD and can display the MENU. HOWEVER, as soon as I select the item I want to play the TV gives me a message that it can no longer find the device. The website for more assistance, that is provided in the instructions, does not exist. I really liked this converter, but it only meets half of my need. I need it to play both DVDs that I have made and those that I have purchased. I will keep the converter around for a couple of weeks in the hope that the manufacturer will contact me with a solution to the problem. Otherwise, it will be returned before the return date.

The HDMI chip failed in my Wii U, so I got this and a Retro HD YPbPr cable to see if I could still get 1080p output. It worked, and with no noticeable delay. You will still have to change your Wii U output settings to Component > 1080p otherwise I got a black and white screen.

Easy install. Seems to work perfectly. Only time will tell

Functions just as I expected, and desired.. perfect unit for my needs to transfer component signal to HDMI for my TV without component inputs...

Exactly what I needed to be. I was able to connect my Wii to a TV that only had HDMI inputs. Welcome back to 2005!

So far I can conect my old DVD player, but my new proyector won't recognize the HDMI as 1080p as advertized, but indtead as a lower resolution...

Me and the mrs are really sad and still enjoy playing Tiger Woods gold on the old xbox. The new tv we bought didn't have any of the scart or rgb ports. This worked amazingly well and the picture is better than we used to get. Many more round have been played.

Been using with my ps2 for around a year now and is still working absolutely perfectly, haven’t even had to think about it again after I installed it.

Works great! Used on a 2017 samsung 55" smart TV to run a ps2. Some games look better than others, but the image is sharper than samsung splitters. Games like socom look a little sharper, still some blur. But games like Nfs Underground 2 don't have much image quality increase from the standard rca/component splitters. Still worth it though.

It is a little delicate and you have to be careful when you unplug it from the power socket but it works really well! It let me use my old xbox from Australia on my 50 inch smart tv with excellent quality! Thank you for a great product.
