This little compact mirror has become my daily sidekick, and I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do. The first thing that caught my eye was the design, it’s colorful, lively, and has this tropical vibe that feels like a burst of energy every time I take it out. It’s not just a mirror, it feels like a small accessory with personality, and that makes me smile. The quality is solid. It’s lightweight enough to carry everywhere, but not flimsy, the hinge feels smooth when opening and it snaps shut with enough security that I don’t worry about it opening in my bag. Inside, you get two mirrors: a standard one that’s crystal clear for quick checks, and a magnified one that’s perfect for close-up things like eyeliner, mascara, or even making sure there’s no stray eyelash stuck in my eye. The magnification is strong enough to be useful without making things look warped. I’ve slipped it into handbags, backpacks, and even my dance bag when I’m on the go, it barely takes up space but always comes in handy. After rehearsals or performances, it’s perfect for quick touch-ups when I’m sweaty or fixing smudged makeup under stage lights. Honestly, it feels like it’s been choreographed into my routine, always there at the right moment, helping me look put together again. For the price, I think it’s an absolute gem. Pretty design, sturdy build, practical features it checks all the boxes. If you like everyday items that add a little flair and usefulness at the same time, this one is worth it. ✅ Pros: beautiful design, clear mirrors, magnification option, compact and sturdy. ❌ Cons: none so far, though I wouldn’t mind seeing more designs so I could collect them!

I originally bought this for a specific niche purpose (requirement of an exam board for remote sittings during the pandemic), which was later no longer relevant (they changed the rules), but I couldn't be bothered returning for the cheap cost. It therefore wasn't something I particularly wanted anymore or was inclined to like, but it's really grown on me, to its credit. This product is sturdy and easy to fish out of a handbag by touch. I quite like the pattern, and it's easy to angle the magnifying mirror as you need. I mean, sure, it's not as thin and discreet at some compact mirrors, but at this stage of life, I'm over that, and just want to be able to find things in my Mary Poppins-esque bag more easily. I did think I'd find it too awkward (won't fit some teeny tiny occasion clutch bags), but for everyday use, the bulky design is actually perfect. I use this for applying eye make up such as mascara, and also for identifying my tonsils when doing Covid tests. For style and substance, eh? In short... this product had the odds stacked against it for me using it and/or recommending it, but it's a decent buy, and worth the money. Price hasn't been hiked up (same price as I paid a year ago) and it'll last you for years, I'm sure. If you need a mirror and you're trying to decide which one to pick in a sea of choices, this is the one you want.
