I've never bought cereal in bulk before
If you've never had Barbara's puffins, this may not be the ideal way to try them, since you'll get 6 boxes for something like 5 dollars a box. Barbara's isn't always easy to find, particularly since they stopped carrying these unflavored ones at the grocery shop I usually rely on. What you get is a relatively unsweetened cereal that everyone in my family seems to like. It's good for kids in that they like the taste, but it doesn't have many added sugars. Sometimes I'll have it, too, and it's really not bad. It tastes a bit oaty with a bit of bran 'flavor.' The cereal has a fair amount of air and is pretty light. If you really want oats and a bit more solidity/density, Barbara's makes another similar cereal called Oat Crunch that's a bit more like something that Quaker would sell. I buy in bulk mostly because of the supply issues I've encountered in my regular grocery stores.

Healthy cereal
After trying a new diet program, eat protein bars packed with probiotics every two hours, dairy free (almond milk unsweetened), no fruit, and using the programs low carb Cereal, a lean and green meal at lunch and dinner, I discovered this cereal. It’s a healthy alternative to the programs cereal and a lot cheaper too! I lost 12 pounds the first two weeks of the diet-and maintains the weight loss for over a year sticking to certain peers of the diet and even cheating a lot! I’m currently back on the diet program (think bikini) losing s few more pounds and now comfortably fit in my size 4 cloths. This cereal has helped me maintain. When I’m off my diet and just maintaining, I add blueberries to this cereal. Also, my grand loves the cereal too!

Great taste and crunch love that it’s non gmo
Love that this cereal is non-gmo. I use it in my own version of Chex Mix that I feel is much healthier because I use all non gmo/organic products in mine. Great taste and remains crunchy. Thank you Canada 🇨🇦

ONLY RECEIVED 1 BOX, NOT SIX
Like others have said, I received only one box when it says quantity of 6 in two different places. It's a great price for 6 but a terrible price for 1. I would think by now they would have changed the product information with this many complaints.

Can’t get these locally
When we moved from Virginia, we were not able to buy this cereal anywhere, and it is a family favorite. Thank goodness for Amazon, which I think has everything you could ever want. I don’t know where they store it all, but thank you!

Love Puffins
I love Puffins cereal and my local store quit carrying them. I use them for snacking. They’re healthy and addictive. I prefer the original but will buy all if I get the chance. I’ve purchased from this vendor a few times and have always received the twelve boxes. Not this time, I ended up paying that amount for one box. I love puffins but can’t pay that! The vendor or Amazon needs to fix this description. This item is no longer twelve boxes as in the description. Barbara's Original Puffins Cereal, Puffed Corn and Oat Crunch for Kids, Vegan, Kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified, 10 OZ Box (Pack of 12) I have ordered this many times and have always received twelve boxes, unless you read down you’ll be paying an astronomical price for one box of cereal that you can’t return. I would NEVER pay almost eighteen dollars for one box of cereal. Amazon needs to make them change their description. Very misleading

Fiber and Vitamin C make a healthy food
A nice high-fiber product with added Vitamin C. The product webpage says that the amount of Vitamin C added by the manufacturer is about 25-percent of the daily value, but the actual Puffins box doesn't confirm this. So I called them, and they told me that each serving has 20 milligrams of added Vitamin C. Since women should get at least about 75 mg and men should get at least about 90 mg, this 20 mg roughly agrees with the product webpage (25-percent) for the average person. This is more than most cereals that I've found, which makes Puffins a good choice. The only thing about Puffins that I don't like is that it has too much added sugar (the amount of added sugar stated on the Puffins box is much higher than the amount that I see on most cereals).
