Should Be Required Reading In Mainstream Educational System
It is disappointing to me that society is sheep. That people choose not to be aware. That once they are “woke” they panic in their isolation and choose to fall back in line with the herd. While the nail that sticks up gets hammered down, (I suppose it depends on perspective - I’d like to think from personal experience the nail that sticks up gets stepped on). Change your mentality. Change your ideology to a purposeful one. Life a life of purpose. If you don’t know your purpose in life create one. If we follow faith God created His Story, now create Your Story.

Discusses the good aspects of properly employed manipulation
This book was able to give some sound information on the differences between brainwashing and mind control. It discusses the good aspects of properly employed manipulation and how to make it work for you in a positive way.In some instances though the book tends to paint pictures with a large brush so to say, to the point that I felt it's sort of instilling paranoia.I'm not sure how some of the advise provided here would go down with more conservative-minded people, but granted this is a book about deception. Sill, there are some parts that are also empowering, in the sense that it teaches you how to learn not to be manipulated. This part of the book I appreciate, as well as the one about delegation of work.

On Swimming with Sharks (or minnows)
The content of this book is far less sinister than the title suggests, which sounds as if it might be intended as a text for the KGB, CIA, Mafia or some other sinister organization to help it subvert your will. It is really a book about persuasion, and though it could be useful in interrogation, contains a lot of good stuff to know if you’re a salesman, work somewhere with competitors and want to be effective, or are an average person who wants to talk a cop out of giving a traffic ticket. It is well written, intelligent, and thorough. Up front, the author declares his exemplars to be Machiavelli and the Borgias, sharp operators who knew how to get their way. To paraphrase the author, in a world of deceit, you need to learn tricks of trade—some amoral—to help you make your way, over and under people, prevent yourself from being manipulated, and by extension, to manipulate others to serve your purposes. These tricks can be used for good or bad purposes, or merely for self-defense.The book consists of twelve chapters, covering “mind control” concepts, processes, techniques, how-tos, deception, persuasion, benefits, self-defense, practical tips, and delegation tips to others. The concepts chapter is particularly informative, laying out authors mind control framework in terms of ethical and unethical uses, techniques, and fields of application—religion, politics, philosophy, science, sports, meditation, healing therapies, personal development, marketing, psychology, plastic surgery, western medicine, mass media, education, consumerism, etc. (Is that enough?)Informative reading, recommended for anyone who must swim with sharks or simply keep from being consumed.

Far too basic. Uninteresting.
The information here is extremely simplistic--nearly everything covered is common sense. The few topics that ARE more arcane are not expounded on whatsoever. Moreover, it's written on a gradeschool reading level and contains many typos. Additionally, the huge oversized font demonstrates an obvious effort to bulk up the finished product into a book length. Don't waste your time or money.

I like the persuasion part of this book
I can always tell how much I like a nonfiction book by the number of notes I take on my reader. I took a lot on this one. The author, Jeffery Dawson, says this book will give us the necessary ingredients to cook up a life full of opportunities to have our way in matters that are important to us. Manipulation, deception, half-truths and mind control are closely related. Personally, while it's good to know if you are being manipulated or deceived, I don't care to manipulate or deceive others. Just not my style, but persuasion is another thing. It seems these same techniques or tactics can be used in persuading someone to see your side of things. He lists things like have confidence, doing your research so you have the concrete facts, appeal to emotions which is exactly what the best advertisers do, and to sound reasonable and watch the reactions of the person you are trying to persuade. All good tactics.

This is perfect to us which we analyzed what is the proper way how to control our self. Be careful in communicating to others to prevent manipulation. We have power to manipulate our self into good, the limit how to a great person. Today a lot of decent and lies people that we encounter that needs awareness. Be careful in trusting someone it's not easy to find who can trust. Thanks, I learned a lot that give me guide how to be aware in any kind of options.

Learn how your mind controls your life
Wow! Fascinating read. I have been recently introduced to the concept of brain conditioning and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming). It's amazing how our brain controls most of our life. It's actually shapes how we will lead our lives. And yet not much attention is given to this subject.Although this book is not very advanced on the subject matter, you will still learn a thing or two on the topic. All of us start getting brain washed the day we are born and the beliefs we hold or get from outer environment, stay with us for the rest of our lives if we don't question them. I quite enjoyed reading this book and learned a lot as well.

Fascinating stuff about the human brain!
I have always been fascinated by this kind of stuff. I don’t think we realize that our brain controls our lives. And if we find a way to tame our brain we can change our lives dramatically. This is the basis of the whole self-help and personal development genre books. So I grabbed this book because I have a deep interest in this subject. It’s a good all round basic guide. Gives you information about pretty much every area of brain studies. I found it quite interesting. Hope you like it too.

Waste of time and money
The other reviewers seem to have read a different book to the one I had. Jeffrey Dawson's Mind Control: Manipulation, Deception and Persuasion is a very poor quality book that offers no information at all that the average person doesn't already know, it just states completely obvious things. Avoid completely unless you enjoy wasting your money.

I don't know who wrote all of these beaming reviews ...
I don't know who wrote all of these beaming reviews but I have to say the book seems to have been written by a man whom has had a lifelong career in sales and has somewhere been manipulated along the way. Hence the prompt for writing this book. Everything is given in basic detail with little real insight into any of the main areas used in the title. Also, the book is pamphlet size and written in large font, in a typical font I'd imagine the book might boast a full 50 pages or so.
