Can the vertebra be separated to individual bones?

The vertebra cannot be taken apart on this model. To separate the vertebra you would have to cut each one. We used it as a prop at a Halloween party

Is there any ability to rotate the spinal segments or is it only flexible when bending?

Hi, thank you for your inquiry. The spine itself is fully flexible, featuring a newly improved core for even more realistic flexibility that will hold up to many demonstrations, but rotation is more limited in spinal segments.

Can this material be submersed in water to practice ultrasound scanning?

The Axis Scientific Spine Model is made from PVC plastic, which is completely waterproof, but because the spine rod and some of the fixtures are metal, this model may not be suitable for ultrasound scanning.
