Great way to protect your lightning to USB cable
I recently purchased a pair of the “TUDIA's klip snap on charging cable savers” for my wife's iPhone 5 USB to lightening charger cable. She recently had her iPhone lightening cable stop working properly from having the cable bend repeatedly as she plugs her cable in to the wall outlet behind the bed. Over time, the cable stops working from the small wires inside the cable breaking.Once I saw these cool snap on cable protectors by TUDIA, I immediately purchased for her new lightening to USB cable. The clips are very easy to snap on the ends of the lightning cable. Once snapped on the charging cable is protected and looks really slick!Overall, I think the TUDIA "klip snap on charging cable protectors" are a great add on to any iPhone lightening cable. I think these would be a great gift idea as well as they are unique and look super cool. My only complaint is the cost seems a little high when you can purchase a small generic USB to lightening cable for about the same price as these cable protectors.I have no affiliation with this company, these are entirely my views. I trust you found my product review helpful. If so, comment below and feel free to ask me questions, I will try my best to help.Happy shopping!

Honest evaluation
I am not a fan. I even tried to return them after a fair trial period. Unfortunately the return period had passed by 2 days.I bought these to combat the cracking of my cables, for a more protective grip during plugging and unplugging. I first attached 2 to an Apple cord without a problem. The second I attached to a Belkin cable that the white securement clip broke. The cable was slightly thicker than the Apple. I did not try to add another to that cable. These clips will ONLY work on the smaller cables. My second problem was the functionality of the claimed product. SAVER PROTECTOR, to me means reduction in damaging my cables. This is not the case. The clips do eventually slide down the cable, and need to be re-positioned. Following just a couple uses, I found a flexing between the connector and the TUDIA. This is the first sign it is moving. I quickly found myself reaching past the TUDIA clip to the original cable connector to plug and unplug. Otherwise the clip essentially became a better grip for you to pull it by the wire instead of the connector. I was doing more harm to my cables.I find that these clips are worth nothing more than color coding your cables only. I have put the 9 1/2 pieces into the original packaging for a garage sale item. Maybe I can recoup some of my money.I had to replace my damaged cables. Better cables are the answer. Not this quick (non)fix. Check out QUNTIS braided cables.BEWARE

SAVE YOUR iPHONE CHARGER EVEN IF IT'S FRAYED
Apple's design deficiency--their lightning charger for iPhone/iPad, etc., is TUDIA's opportunity to shine, and these clips are great! We've had three of our iPhone's lightning cords fray (or break) at the point where the metal lightning tip meets the cord.( It's a giant pain in the neck, and Apple has a ton of complaints on their web page because of this issue, but these TUDIA clips can help.)TUDIA would have received an additional star, but the white clip that locks over the pastel-colored top is not strong enough to keep the whole Snap-On clip closed, but it is good enough to stop the problem. I have added a layer of electric tape over the top, just to be sure it holds. Also: if the cord has already frayed, but is still working, try one of these clips before you recycle it. You may be able to salvage it!

Arrived quickly, works as promised
I have been using these clips on my Apple lightning cables for a couple weeks now and they definitely appear to reduce the strain on the joints at the ends of the cord. Other reviewers have mentioned that the clips don't stay in place and slip down the cord, but I haven't had that problem at all. Perhaps they are using them on cables that are too thick? For example, I was hoping that I could use one of these to reinforce my Mac power cord, specifically the notorious weak spot where the cord comes out of the transformer. This cord, however, is slightly thicker than a lightning cable and the clip wouldn't fit around it. But for my iPhone and iPad charging cables, these work great!

I have bought 2 kinds... this looks nicer, but doesn’t work well
A great idea, not great engineering. The inner diameter for just the cord is too small. That doesn’t take into consideration, the larger diameter of the cording near the plugs...Which their photos show covering.I am so glad I only got the pkg of 2.I have tried the coil ones... okay, but not great either, but I think they work betterALL with this concept need to go back to thei engineers and make sure the inner cut-out can is actually big enough to slide the tiny cords into them and the top part has a bigger diameter to fit the wide diameter near the plugs.GEEZ... a great idea... spend an hour more with the engineering!

They really do the job.
These fit small cables and connectors best, but they'll even help protect larger cables and connectors. I ordered my first batch (10?) years ago through a different website, and am still using them. Ordered another box of them the other day when I realized I now have some more cables that are not protected. Klips are not exactly inexpensive, but I have found them to be worth every penny. They're pretty easy to slip onto the cables, too. Highly recommended.
