This costume is absolutely adorable and much, much better quality than I expected for the price. I looked at some similar costumes in a local Halloween shop just days earlier and they were not even half as nice as this one. The fabric is a little stiff which is a good thing to help the bee body keep its shape, but it's actually a soft felt like fabric and does not feel cheap. The wings don't stand up much on their own but that is not a problem at all, it still looks very cute. After reading some other reviews, I was a little concerned about the antennae not standing up on their own but they really do, and they have a wire inside so they're bendable and seem like they'll hold shape VERY well even though they don't stick straight up in the air, it actually looks better that way to me. I ordered the Standard size and I'm glad I did because I really feel this costume runs large. I would not have been happy with anything larger. I am not a small person, at 5'8" and size 10 pant, M/L women's top, but I think even in the past when I wore a plus size top this Standard costume would have fit me just fine. At my height though I'll definitely be wearing some black skinnies or at least thick opaque leggings with it. I picked up a cheap black turtleneck at a thrift store and the overall effect is awesome. I have a somewhat large head & very thick hair, and the cap with antennae fits super well, but the fabric seems like it would fit well on anyone (smaller head, big hair, whatever). I highly recommend this costume for male or female wanting to dress up like a bumblebee. It would be WAY too big for a child though.

This costume is perfect. It is really comfortable. The colors are vibrant and it’s so easy to take on and off. I got lots of compliments and it’s so easy to accessorize. Great quality and a good buy. Does not come with the antenna or the glasses, I bought those separately also on Amazon. It does, however come with a beanie type of antenna which I didn’t really like on myself, but still cute.

I wore this when I was pregnant because it was a roomy costume. It’s a cute costume, decent quality.

I needed a simple costume that I could wear to the several Halloween parties my kids were invited to that required adults in costume as well. The vast majority of costumes for women out there are either sexy or layers upon layers of cloth. I live in a place where it's still pushing 100 degrees in October so I wanted something cool that wasn't sexy. This costume fit the bill. Note that it only comes with the hat and the yellow and black-striped body. What you wear under it is up to you.I am 5'9" and a medium build and the costume came just above my knees so I wore tights under it and was fine. There was plenty of room so if I get pregnant again, I will still be able to wear it. The best part is that after Halloween, I tossed it into my kids dress-up box and they use it to play with. It hangs to ankle level on my 2.5 year-old but it's easy for him to walk in. When we have kids over to play, the bee costume is always one of the first to be claimed and worn around. So, the costume has served dual purpose and will most likely be my Halloween costume again.

It was very cute but heads up- I’m only 5 ft 3 inches, medium build, and it barely covered my butt. So I wonder if they all truly come the same size because some pics look a lot bigger like tunic length. And the head hole is small but I wore it and grandkids loved it.

I loved that my winter coat fit under this costume. I had no problems getting it on, but someone with a larger head will have issues. The space is small and there's no stretch there. I was also able to wear a knitted stocking hat under the hat that came with the costume. The antennae were crooked, but it didn't bother me. No human or bee is perfect! ;)
