As expected

Good quality chuck. Hardest part of install is getting the old chuck off. Easy to find videos, just be prepared to apply a pretty significant series of whacks to get the old chuck broken loose.

The plastic sheath where you grip to tighten and loosen the chuck is a weak spot in these drills (design flaw IMO). My dad asked me if I could fix his drill that the plastic part stripped out on after getting a bit stuck where he couldn't unscrew it. Once I go the part in, it took maybe 5mins to remove the old one, put this one on and have his drill going

The new chuck was nearly identical to the original. It installed easily (after viewing a video on the web.) So far it has performed well, just as I expected. Even though my Dewalt drill doesn't owe me anything after a busy 5 years of use, I believe my drill has plenty of life left in it and I wasn't willing to trash it just because the chuck stopped working.

Garbage. This is NOT a good fit. The chick rubs against the drill head body and started to smoke. I almost burned my hand hew I touched the end of my drill where it touches the chuck.
