I love how detailed this book is. It was like receiving advice from a big sister or friend. I even noticed a myriad of handy resources like spreadsheets, websites, lists of key players, and various references to other sources of information. Not only had I never known anything about the overhead or customer relationship aspects of the freight business, but I also had never really come to appreciate how much goes into different shipments. Julia Albright did a wonderful job is going through all the tips one would need to know if s/he had never before entered this sector of the market industry. At some of the moments where I thought the author would continue providing grave and serious advice sometimes she sprinkled her own humor in and made me laugh. Even through the laughing I learned a lot. You can tell that Ms. Albright enjoyed writing this book, and I have enjoyed reading it. Thank you for this! As someone who is really interested in business, this has opened my eyes to many things I probably would have overlooked in trying to build one and ensure it were a success. Great book!

Yes like all books there are grammatical errors because no book is written perfectly. But what I like about this book is that Miss Albright makes it simple and easy to understand. This was my third book on the transportation and Logistics industry. And I have also tried some online courses. but after reading this book I have requested a refund for one of my courses that cost a couple hundred dollars. Many of the secrets to success have been written in place in manuscript form and as it relates to the freight brokerage industry as a beginner, this book definitely hits the mark in checks all boxes for me as a beginner seeking knowledge and understanding about this diversified industry.

This was an excellent read. It gave me the clarity, I was looking for to start a freight broker company.

In looking for an option to make an income from home, I stumbled upon this book. In reading it, I found that this book walks you through the business from start to finish while teaching you your role as a broker. I have not decided if I will proceed with this occupation, but it certainly gave me some things to think about.

This book has a lot of useful info and offers great points necessary to get started. The writing is clear and the book is an easy read.I would recommend this book. It won’t do your job for you but it can definitely help point you in the right direction.
